If your fan is running, check for blockage in the plastic container the fan sits on. Enter from the back and undo black hose clamp and check from bottom
Hi, and thanks for this video. Just recieved an FE code as well, but on my stand alone samsung dryer, not a combination unit. Qould you know if the fan in the same spot on just a dryer? Thanks in advance!
Hi welcome. On the dryer it is usually attached to the motor so its in a different spot. You will need to remove to cover and right hand side cover to access the fan
Hi I’ve had this error code today. Took all all apart and the fan area was loaded with what looked like mountains of soap powder and wet fabric fibres. The fan was seized. I cleaned it all up and got the fan free but it sounds horrible now really loud and spins flat out. The blade lock nut was completely rusted. I’ve come to the conclusion that the fan motor internal bearings have worn out. When buying a new motor does it come with the reverse thread lock nut? Or do you know where to get one from?

@askmrwashywashy found the issue after try every thing, the box the fan sits on was blocked at the bottom taken of clamp on rubber, and unblocked was restricting air flow. These things look like a fire hazard waiting to happen.
