Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Pro- Better Than A MacBook?

A question or two: Do you think that offset touch pad below the keyboard on the Book3 Pro, offset to the left b/c of the numeric keys included, does that leave enough room to the left of the pad for my left palm to comfortably rest if I type long hours? That question concerns me, and is one of the reasons I am also considering a Dell XPS 17" 9730 which with such tiny bezels actually fits in a roughly 15" form factor, since the Dell gets rid of the numeric keys and centers its touch pad. I would get either in the 16" or 17" with the 13 gen i7 chip and 16GB RAM, and ideally just 512GB SSD if that was available instead of the full 1TB SSD. Both are beauts, though the Samsung will cost a bit less even if I go with the less expensive FHD+ screen on the Dell. Since I do plan on also getting a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, and b/c the Dell is only a 60Hz refresh rate, big mistake by Dell, I am leaning towards the advantages of the Samsung ecosystem and going all Samsung. If you have any comments on any other part of the above, I'd welcome them too. Thank you.

Seems like you are a apple fanboy. Even a $1500 windows laptop can smoke macbook pro since the 13th gen cpus and rtx 40 series gpus. Galaxy book 3 ultra can smoke any macbook you throw at it. Windows laptops are doing this unbelievable things. That is why macbook sells dropped. Apple is very limited if you talk about conputing power. Editing is not only one thing which comes in information technology.

macbook pro is gold standard? are you a reviewer or an apple fanboy who just compares every product to apple? m1, m2 are not powerful they are just efficient. If you are speaking about performance per watt then m2 is better. But actually we need to talk about performance per rupee, where windows laptops really excel apart from Microsoft surface. Don't compare everything to apple. Make some unbiased reviews.

i would buy the macbook air...it's insane..galaxy book 3 will never touch the optimisation, the processor power as far as the os and intel processors are concerned.
