People buy these phone because they have too much money. Rich people earn too much every month they need to spend on something. Buy expensive cars, house, shops, phone, ect.
No the thing is a lot of ppl are clumsy and careless my husband walks around with no case or screen protector and I do he has to get his phone repaired a lot and I don’t want I get a new phone it’s in a case before I leave the store and remains that way the entire time
I dropped mine in a Walgreens, screen stopped working (nothing shattered tho), had to get the whole front piece replaced. However, if you get samsung care plus, file a claim, you could save a lot of money for a complex fix. Ended up paying $29 for the fix and $8 for the Samsung care plus. So before you freak out if your phone falls, look into this . Saved me from going back to my old phone, buying a new one, or ending up paying hundred(s) out of pocket.
If you drop other phones the same exact way on the same concrete you did I am sure the screens would have cracked. The flip protects the big screen and the outer screen is small enough that it has a lot less chance of cracking compared to other phones.
That's really disappointing actually because no, if I drop my Xperia 1v from the roof of my car onto concrete, I don't even flinch it gives me a reassuring sense of security that exposed hinges and plastic folding screens never will.
@samuelgitliz-schwab1209 just don't scratch it? It's not a scam if you end up breaking it, you should already be aware of how fragile it can be before you buy it
Yes, but the screen of other phones breaks but they continue to work, or the screen is easy to change. You will accidentally drop it during use, but the phone stops working at the slightest drop and say hello to high repair costs. experiences speak
Never used a case on my flip 3, had it from launch to release of flip 4. Dropped numerous times (folded or open) and it never even got a scratch! My flip 4 bespoke is made of glass so I am much more careful with it - but I dont want a case 😂
I had the 3, and it slipped out of my pocket a few times with just minor cosmetic damage, but my 4 slipped out of my pocket a couple weeks ago and it destroyed the hinge. The 4's hinge is more fragile than the 3's.
Have the same, broke once, paid 700 to repair and It broke again, they both were low impact falls but split screen broke on both.. exactly the same issue.
Mine fell off a 4 foot table and entire bottom screen wasn't working and it completely stopped working a few hours later now I have a redmagic 5g Edit: I did get my phone back for free by samsung on Dec 17th I am much more careful now
Just because it doesn’t open all the way doesn’t mean it’s useless.!! It’s still a perfectly good phone. It’s kind of like how old flip phones were. They didn’t open flat
I wish i could buy this phone, but i have butter fingers, and reading how if breack when falling, i will stick to my POCO, it has survived at least 2-3 falls a week for 4 years But the Samsung is so nice, i wish i could have pretty things 😂
I have the same one and even the same color since mid november 2022 and it fell like that 3 times (the only 3 times in my life where i didn't stress for my phone...😭😆) good phone but i heard that after 6 months the screen can break itself at the middle bc of oppening and closing it too much
