I almost bought the Samsung Note 10 last year but stop short when I realized I really prefer headphone jacks over bluetooth or type c headset. Im really grateful they came up with the Samsung Note 10 lite 😍😊
I got this one. Love it. Spending a little more on the note 10 doesn't convince me because of the smaller screen. I'm happier with slightly lower specs than with a smaller screen. Besides, phones are overspecced nowadays. This has more than enough power.
@@kb2696 So far I've got no complaints at all. Never felt it slow and the battery is good for heavy use. The only times it didn't get me through a full day was when I was playing a lot of games. On my normal use I can get 1,5 days. The Note 10+ feels more premium, my wife has one and I notice a good difference in build quality, the screen is a little wider and it looks better, but IMO it's not worth the price bump. It would be nice to have wireless charging though. Oh I remember one problem, if it can be considered one. Some of my old charging cables don't work on this one. With the included cable it's super quick to charge, but the cable I was using on my P20 Pro is as if nothing's passing. Quality cables by other brands (I have a good Huawei cable here) seem to work fine, but cheaper ones don't.
@@PacMacDo False. Depends on what games you play. I use phone with Mediatek G90T which is slower than this Note 10 Lite and I can still play all games like pubg at 60fps and dead by daylight at 60fps too. Latest phones are overpowered unless you play something like citra emulator.
@@sahilrohilla5494 I am able to get around 4.5 hrs of screen on time on it. Idle battery drain is around 1%per hour . What about you? I have turned off ..allowed very few apps to run in background..switched off NFC. Created Bixby routine that turns off mobile data as soon as phone connects to wifi..I only use mobile data when requires otherwise I keep it off. At night I put my phone on max battery save mode!!
Honestly same. And headphone jack. I hate the hole in display, ip rating, one speaker and lack of dex. But still one of most complete devices Samsung made in a long time.
The camera is bad, low light shots have lots of noise they look terrible, the front facing camera pics also look terrible, you have to be in a well lit room or a sunny bright day, my Note 8 has a much better camera.
I bought it just couple days ago to replace my Galaxy S9 which had terrible battery life, barely 3h of screen time after 9 months of intensive use for forest maps at work. Battery life is amazing on this thing, squeezed 7h of screen-on time from it, 10/10 would recommend.
Idk. I would say out of all the Samsung lite series, s20 and A series phones I would go with the A71 over all of them. You get a new look, big screen at a good price
Hi! for the Note 10 Lite, It uses an Exynos 9810 chip from 2018. If I get it through a local carrier this year with a 24 month lock in period (2020-2022). Do you think the phone will hold up? I'm a social media, YT, and mobile legends user.
I'm still using Note 9, which is probably my last Samsung Phone. But this lite kinda got me interested. I just prefer Flat screen over any QHD Curve anytime of the day
Please make a comparison vid with the s10 lite. they seem to be affordable high-end samsung phones, perfect for a college student living on a budget. The factors i'm trying to consider are features, performance and longevity
Looking how Samsung update their phones so far, which is two major Android updates per phone, the Note 9 will be stuck at Android 10 and the Note 10/+ will get Android 11 meanwhile it's possible that the Note 10 Lite lives longer than the Note 10/+ and get Android 12 while rocking the Note 9's SoC...
Hope you'll reply. What we actually need is a Note 10e. Like an s10e, but with a stylus. A note 10 with flat display, side-mounted capacitive fingerprint sensor, and no telephoto. And a starting price of *MAXIMUM* $750 (like the s10e). But with IP68, Qi wireless charging, stereo speakers, *A HEADPHONE JACK FOR FUCK'S SAKE* , and the stylus and that sexy boxy sharp corner design
Is the camera on note 10 lite better than s10 lite? f 1.7 on note 10 lite should shoot beter pics in indoor lighting compared to the f2.0 on s10 lite..besides s10 lite's 48 mp cam only produces 12 mp output & many reviews say its low light imagess as well as daylight pics lack details
How ones the Note 10 / 10 Lite front 10MP video look compared to, say, the Samsung a71 with its 32mp selfish front camera? Does 3x the MP count provide remarkably better selfie blogging quality?
Hi there, I would like to know if I can use the "S Pen of Note 10/10+" on my Note 10 lite? 😊 Is that compatible to my "Note 10 lite?"I am planning to buy a new S Pen but there is no specific S-pen for Note 10 Lite available. Only for Note 10/10+. Thank you for your answer. Nice Review. 💕
Samsung's getting so random with the decision making in including headphone jacks. This one has one but the S10 Lite doesn't. The other older S10 models have audio jacks but the older Note 10 line doesn't, and now the S20 lineup doesn't either. Why won't Samsung just stick with putting audio jacks, I don't get it.
This is honest review , unlike others who do commercial ,anyway it look like mid range device lacks ip68 rating , Lacks Glass back and curve screen doesnt look premium device
I have 2 choices: S10e and Note 10 lite Here's why i chose the note: 1: i asked myself what does the S10e have that i *actually* need? I lived for *years* without IP68 so nope. Wireless charging? Wired is so much faster so nope. Stereo speakers? Ia have a JBL so nope. Dynamic AMOLED? I don't think the difference is so major it is worth it, so nope. At this point, the only thing the s10e has is that it is a device supported by Dbrand😂😂. 2: i like big phones. I'm a big phone guy. I have a 6 inch screen at the time and 5.8 inch isn't something i would notice. But 6.7 inches *shut up and take my money* . 3. Battery. I'm not a *power user* but i use my phone a lot. And 3100mAh vs 4500mAh...this one doesn't even need an explanation 4: the note 10 lite has a plastic back and is not even 6 months old. The s10e has a glass back and is 1 year old. So technically...the note 10 lite is more future-proof. 5: Cameras. Considering the fact that you can install Gcam on both devices, but Gcam doesn't support ultrawide but it supports telephoto, is an advantage for the note 10 lite. Also, because having 3 cameras, and macro, etc. Modes, it is a more flexible camera. (I rarely shoot videos. Mainly photos)
This phone is a truly beast one. I have one. It can play pubg at 1080p 60fps and very stable at 60fps. DON'T be afraid. I know it's exynos but it's really fast than u think by a LOT.
@@sp-vk4bl its really cool actually in camera. Comparing to s10 plus. The note 10 lite is close to s10 plus. The camera is perfect, don't worry ;) Maybe s10 plus have better colors but they are close in quality and sharpness of images. You can record 4k with 60 fps!!
@@sp-vk4bl no.. its the rear camera afc. Front camera is good too. You have face unlock feature works pretty good but won't work well in dark places. I am not interested in camera globally but its images is really good in my opinion.
@@zyadelmarwany4566 rear camera Afc means???? I am find if natural photography. So only I am asking for it's camera performance. How much will you give out of 100 for it's camera performance?????
Bought it and just started using my s10lite and the camera is really slow and bad like an old iphone camera. The phone is pretty quick as expected but lags a little sometimes. Whats the problem, im very confused my iphone se 1st gen camera is snappier and takes better shots?
@@kb2696 the battery life is fairly good. I'm on data most of the time and it can carry on till afternoon if you start the day with a full batt on. I can't say much about gaming cos i dont game. UI is smooth. It can do better with the camera esp. the front cam, but i guess you can fix it with filters or selfie edits? The zoom in the rear is good (10x). Overall it is a good daily driver (main phone). The stylus is a bonus for productivity. I hope this helps.
I am stuck between a71 and note 10 lite. M a samsung user and never preferred any other devoce except ios.... Oneplus is good but lacks expandable storage And i have loads of loads of data ... so stuxk onto Samsung. Okay now i am an artist and photographer and i do a lot of media consumption, browse and read lots and lots of books. I do causal gaming in between but nothing very serious. I need good competitive cameras. Should i go for the note 10 lite or A71 ... S10 lite has no expandable storage so it wont help me out. I am on a very tight budget so stuck between A71 and note 10 lite. Which one would be better??? This being Exynos processor i have heard it has heating and battery drain issues. If so is A71 a better performer overall, with battery, heat dissipitation, camera and casual gaming or the galaxy note 10 lite would be a better phone overall Please do help me out
@@Soli_Deo_Gloria_. note 10 lite. And i find it to be an amazing swift device without any hiccups or issues on the battery ... and for the price you pay ... its a steal deal if you ask me ... coz u r getting a flagship camera, amazing display, headphone jack, expandable storage, great performance and an S-Pen - all of this for such a competent price is a done deal
Flat display is actually plus. More so with styles. Plastic back is actually plus. Glass is nonsense. Waterproofing and stereo speakers are clear win for Note 9, but this isn't bad at all. Finally something on par with old Notes. After 4 they changed it from 'phone for creative people' into 'the most expensive phone we are able to build'. Luckily, that is now taken by silly folding phones.
I came across this phone with a very similar-looking camera array at the back. It's called the Umidigi Power 3 and it's just $170 or thereabouts. Helio P60, 6.53" punch hole display, 6150mAh battery, dual SIM + dedicated SD card slot, 64GB storage. It's not perfect and I think 64GB these days is on the low side but yeah.. the price should be appealing to those on a tight budget but want a capable processor and that punch hole display which gives it an air of high-end-ness. Maybe you guys can give it a chance.
@@CodeTypeH I guess it's the brand for those who want the highest specs for the money but don't care much about updates so long as they can make calls, texts, and play PUBG.
It's just that company take to long with their deliveries and lied about when they will be shipped. I recommend the Umidigi x tho cause I had that phone and it was really good.
I'm planning to get this phone because of the s-pen, and I'm not willing to spend too much on the other expensive note models. However, I hear a lot of people complaining about the processor (exynos 9810) for being a 2 year old chipset. Does it really matter that its an "old" chipset? I mean as long as it works well, I'm fine with it but can someone enlighten me if there are any issues with it?
Not at all. People who complain about it don't know what they are talking about. It is 2 years old yes but it's the same one as in the Note 9. It is stronger than SD 730 which is one of the best midrange processors now. The only thing with the 2 year old Exynos is that it is not as battery efficient as new processors. But it's still decent so who cares.
The Note 10 lite is an international only phone with an exynos processor. The last international version phone I had (Note 8) did not recieve phone calls while using youtube. Has anyone heard of this issue with the Note 10 lite?
Hello, i come from vietnam. I intend to buy a Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite smartphone but I don't know if it is good but through your review, I have some pretty useful information about that smartphone. Thank you very much
i was looking forward to this phone i was hyped but the price it not cost effective. right now i'm looking for an android phone but I rather get a samsung note 9 instead
I think the iPhone camera still performs better than the Note 10 lite no matter which iPhone model. How did you get accustomed to the camera coming from an iPhone?
@@aniketmishra5281 hey there! This comment was 3 years ago and ended up getting the Samsung S21 Ultra a few months after I had the Note 10 Lite. But now I'm using the iPhone 15 pro max.
@@alfredkarl1526Still I'd like to know your experience with the camera after coming from an iPhone. I have a Note 10 Lite in spare which my dad used for a few months. I'm bored of the iOS system and was thinking to switch to the spare phone as Note 10 Lite is a eye attracting phone no doubt. But the the only thing holding me back is the iPhone camera since they really do work well which I found a little disappointing in the rather phone.
@@aniketmishra5281 i haven't taken lots of photos with the Note 10 lite but I think it was ok. Although I think it wasn't that great which is probably why I decided to get the S21 Ultra that time.
So... Between the A71, S10 lite and Note 10 lite I guess it's a fact that Note 10's lite camera is better. But just between A71 and S10 lite? I read your review of S10 lite and you guys said that the main camera is not surprising. I wonder if it is better than the A71's because I think that should be the case minding the price.
I'm coming to Note10 lite from Note5, surprisingly Note 5 was better in screen and audio. Also Note 10 lite is jerky in finger print, and I did configure it twice but it work only for short time and then it doesnt recognize me. If my Note 5 battery life was good and if there was expandable memory I would keep it 😑
The way you word it, it certainly sounds like the note 9 is a better deal, but yeah some people love to have everything new. Heck even a used note 9 for $450 sounds better
Los Vlogs de Yeril this is you subjective point of view. Does Note9 have ultravide camera? Flat screen? Android upgrades for next 2 years? Anwer is no. And maybe for you those are unimportant elements, for somebody is a must.
@@Shumayal Headphone jack, better speakers, no hole punch display, Note 9 is a true no compromises phone, as all Note should be. (It's also less expensive to get a 512GB Note 9 than a 512 Note 10+) And Note 10 small size have no sd card slot, and a full HD display.
I'm willing to give up that telephoto camera to just 2 cameras and 9810 to snapdragon 730G, even the headphone jack for water resistance and stereo speakers.
@Mr. Howdy they are lazy to go out to test the real capabilities of that camera. What is the point when you put same building, same snail same night shot. SuperSaf just changed that.
Hi .. about to purchase and notice the selfie camera make your skin auto blurish . Is it normal ? For this lite version .. hold my purchase due to this reason .. do advice me
Guys and gals pls help me. With all these amazing smartphones today, and the ever growing burn-in of OLEDS even from flagships, which is kind of annoying. I'm not really sold to those gimmick update etc bc in another month or two, problems like burn-in's gonna come back. With this, I wanna come back to getting quality LCD. Do you know any smartphones with LCD in it ranging from midrange to upper midrange? I'm not shelling another thousand for a phone since I'm not really a mobile gamer, i gave mine (a flagship phone) to my sibling (pls don't ask the brand of the phone I gave to my sibling). Most phones these days are getting advanced since the consumers demands more and more for a powerful processor that can handle fluid graphics etc etc, it's not bad tho, it's just the burn-in thing is really a pain in the arse. Thank you in advance for your suggestions. ✌🏻
