Much better than the S20, but in terms of design I actually prefer the S21. Much more outstanding camera design. But the Note is difficult to compare because the integrated S-Pen is just one of a kind.
Imagine thinking about getting a new upgrade and finding your house on a video about the same phone you're looking up. Love the clip where he adds himself to the house. Lol Edit: to adding timestamp 7:06
I only get Notes every model since the 4. Expandable memory and perfect shape for micro home cinema. As an artist and photographer It's always on me. It's the most used thing I ever had.
Was torn between these two beast phones, but my deciding factor wasn't the lack of SD card or the ability to use 120Hz at full resolution, it was the design. I went for the Note 20 Ultra for its unique design, those sharp edges look and feel so elegant and premium on my hands. Rounded corners are dull. I chose right and I'm happy with my Note.
@@JaziX5 i really wanted to get the note 20 ultra over the S21 Ultra but the downside is that it will have only 1 Major update left..which is next year and its trade value for next will be downhill
@@kelispell9224 yes. The Note 20 Ultra has the S-pen built-in, comes with the 25 watt charger and it has SD card support out of the box. It didn't include headphones but I call Samsung and the shipped me the AKG type C headphones thru the mail
I'm a roofing contractor with Note 20 Ultra. I use the 50x zoom ALL the time to monitor my guys and document precise job progress without them knowing I'm looking. I can make out the individual nail heads from 50+ yards away (which is crucial for a roofing job to go on correctly).
@@dheerajk27 how is it doing? I have heard very negative reviews about this processor as per the battery performance but i need this device. Shall i go for it?
@@eshitasingh2238 The reviews are just hyped. If you're not a hardcore gamer, who does gaming for hours, you will hardly see any difference between the two processors. Battery performancewise I always get 30 plus hrs back up
I love my Note 20 Ultra & I prefer the look of the Note 20 Ultra as well... I also find the back camera set-up looks cheaper on the S21 Ultra, than the Note 20 U, but just my opinion. The Note 20 Ultra is a 4 year phone for me.
I don't know why Tech Vloggers keep bringing up the "sharp edges' of the Note. Personally, I think the squared edges on the Note look MUCH nicer. I also have no problems with comfort while holding it. Just saying... Also, non-expandable memory and no MST is a deal breaker for me. Hopefully they take it back in the next gen
The note used to be the power user device with all the convenience features including the headphone jack and all the other accessories , Samsung has really destroyed the legacy of the note IMO , even if it is still a good phone , the spirit of the note is dead .
So I just tried my S Pen from my old Samsung Galaxy Note 3 on my Note 20 Ultra...in most scenarios it works perfectly fine. Vice versa, the S Pen from my Note 20 Ultra works, pretty much everywhere on the Note 3. Obviously not all actions are supported always, but hey I was amazed to discover this backward and forward compatability. Cheers.
💥 The worst thing is discontinuing the Samsung Gallery Note series with the SD card slot. 👉 WATCH OUT PEOPLE! They are discontinuing the SD card slots forcing you to purchase monthly icloud installments. Replacing Note with 'S' series without SD card slot, without earplug plugins, without batteries, and only 128gb space. Plugs help avoid distractions and when underground. 👉 They are taking more away, so we pay for extras with mostly 6 rams. NOT WORTH IT! Suggestion: Do not support the 'S' series. They will only continue to make it worse if we continue to support it.
Bro cmon its just 20 dollars for a charger i mean they lowered the prices with 100 dollars and you know if you wait a month it will drop even further and that will be even more worth since it has way more features
@@TechPill_ and with s21 Ultra you get free Galaxy buds pro and smartTag, which are worth 250 dollars, on top of the fact that the s21 ultra is 100 dollars cheaper than the note anyway.
I've always been a Note user, but I have a feeling with the S-Pen being an option with the S21 Ultra (I'm pretty sure it doesn't come with it and you have to buy it separately), they're going to bump the Note series and use those launches for the Z Folds moving forward. I love that with the Note, the S-Pen can be stored inside it and it's always right there when you need it so that's definitely a downside for me if I were to switch to the S21 Ultra. The benefit I'm seeing is screen protectors for the S21. Since Note started with the curved screens, it's a PIA to find a full adhesive, good quality glass screen protector that doesn't cost $50+. Personally. I'm going to hold off from upgrading until I see what they do in the Fall.
I just upgrade to the Note20 ultra from my note10+ just because I broke it. and after many videos I went for the Note20 ultra because charger, and SD card option. It has a smaller storage but I can get a SD card up to 1tb if needed. This is going to be my phone for a while and I hope don't break it. Is really great if you are a note user.
@@Rashimotosan Update: I got the S21 Ultra in Phantom Silver. It's beautiful. I'm not missing the screen size and if there's one thing Samsung has mastered since 2006, it's beautiful screens! My S7 Tab pen works on it. I'm at 20% battery after moderate use over 2 days - 1 hour. I'm sure that will go down as I use it more but this was a good decision. Either way you should be happy. The frame of the phone feels really solid and quality in my hand too. Easy to grip. I'm going to hate buying a case for it.

I just purchased note 20 ultra few days ago at full retail price. All of my friends have note 20 ultra. This is one of the greatest phones Samsung has ever came out with
Thank you for doing this awesome video! 👍 Finally the difference between the note 20 ultra & the S21 Ultra is fully explained. Finally I'm comfortable with making my choice to go with the (Note 20 Ultra!) I very much appreciate you taking the time to explain it all! God bless!
@@Mr.Feanor Hi! Sorry so long to answer you but I got bit by covid! No it's not a snapdragon & I got it because just about everything about it sounded great. Now that I've had it a couple months I'm having a few problems with it. Almost daily now my email just freezes up & the only way to temporarily solve that is to reboot the phone everytime!! The other problem I'm having with it is sometimes the entire phone also freezes up & I have to reboot yet again & this happens about once a week. Another thing that really bugs me is when I upload a video from my phone to the TV, watching is ok but when I try to save a video to massages I have to change the msm messaging system default, & then I have to change that default again just to be able to do any text messaging again. If I knew I was going to have these problems before I bought the phone, I would have never bought it! Anyway, you're ya go! Hope that helps!
"If you're a stalker I guess you're going to be using it all the time" I used to be an Asset Protection Agent (basically my job was to catch shoplifters) and having this zoom camera would have helped me ALOT lol
It's mindboggling to me after the backlash that Samsung faced when they removed the micro SD slot in the S6 and the Note 5, that they do it again with the S21. I was really looking forward to the S21 but on micro SD slot is a deal-breaker for me. so I guess I'll buy the Note 20 Ultra.
@@siumahin9049 Exactly..I got my 20 from Samsung,so none of the provider bloatware, I OWN it, and got a charger, even though it was 25 watts I think..They are playing games with these fake upgrades. Like the camera scam. I am not going to shoot anything critical, like a family event, wedding, etc, with no damn phone..One thing, you cannot blow up prints because they will look like trash and there's only digital effects for Bokeh and depth of field..
The reason why I like Note20 Ultra better than S21 Ultra is the fact that it has a MicroSD card slot. Maybe it is not a big deal for most people but for me it is basically because of faster back up and restoration of data when I perform Factory Data Reset, the Note20 Ultra is undeniably more convenient than the S21 Ultra on that regards. And the fact that it has an S-Pen compartment and an S-Pen itself where it does not have to be bought separately after spending US$1400 on a phone is still a big win to me. So if I could get a Note20 Ultra 5G (not the non-5G Exynos990) I would still be a lot more ecstatic but I'm fine with the S21 Ultra for it has a better overall camera + Better Ultrasonic Fingerprint Sensor + 120Hz on WQHD+ which I have been waiting for a while on a Samsung flagship phone. I could never go wrong with both of them but definitely still a Galaxy Note guy here. Planning to get a Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G and end my flagship phone journey there (and maybe just get A5x series or A7x series on the forthcoming years) unless Samsung would adapt the boxier form factor on the upcoming S series phones instead of the generic rounded rectangle that they currently use on their S series. #ForeverGalaxyNoteFanHere #TillWeMeetAgainGalaxyNote #GalaxyNote10PlusUserHere
Right, the design of the note 20 ultra is just *chefs kiss*, which is why I'm kind of shaky on buying it because what if in January they drop the note 21 and note 21 ultra with everything the s21 ultra has in the note version but with better stuff
I was testing camera performance on s21 ultra and was very impressed but testing note 20 ultra and it just feel more premium and camera performance seems very similar 😀
Just re-release the note 20 ultra with improved cameras, sd 888+, MST, SD Card, 120hz at WQHD+, and a 6000mah battery Bonus, remove the curved glass make it flat, and add headphone jack. Do all this and call it Note 21 it's an instant buy.
I just brought my note 20 ultra yesterday coming from a note 10 plus I just love this device much better for one battery life last longer, and the features on it nice last, but not least the camera is just mind blowing.
I got the Note 20 Ultra and its been an absolute pleasure to use. I'm one of the strange people who enjoys the curved edges and the camera is absolutely amazing. Not even going to lie, just because of the boxy design id still pick the note, it just looks and feels so good in the hand. Can't believe I'm one of the top 100 comments!
I agree. My first ever proper smartphone was the note 1 which sadly didn't survive more than a year due to my carelessness. My next Samsung phone was an S9+ nearly 6 years later, which I recently upgraded for my current Note 20 ultra. It's an absolute beast and I could never look at another phone the way I do with my note..
@Amadeus Lucian thats your opinion mate, your phone has worse cameras, worse battery, the note 20 ultra has a 120hz refresh rate while you're still stuck on 60hz, a 92% screen to body ratio, an s pen, a matte finish which doesn't have fingerprints on it, a better placed under display fingerprint sensor and better haptics, a bigger screen that has the smallest cutout camera. The s10+ has the ugliest pill cutout which is why I opted for the s10 instead before I upgraded to this. And you're a fool if you think that the note 20 ultra looks worse than an s10 or the pixel 4xl. Youre just mad you can't afford one 💀
@Amadeus Lucian i think you are the minority in the tech community. The design of note 20 ultra is regarded highly. Watch some reviews man. And personally I think its one of the best designs out there in recent years. They improved almost every single aspect from the s20. Clearly you're just a troll trying to justify yourself for buying an underwhelming Pixel 😂
How do you feel about your decision a year later? I think I'm gonna get note20 ultra considering that money is an issue for me and it just seems not that different than s22 ultra only the selfie camera, is the quality of selfies good?
Just ordered the Note 20 ultra. The SD slot is a must have for me and the ability to carry the pen in the phone and the pen is Bluetooth. The 21 ultra while it can use a pen it won't be Bluetooth and you can't carry it in the phone but the biggest downfall is the lack of an SD card slot. Great review. 👍
The note 20 is still a good phone today , even though I'm in an exynos region I'm still tempted to get one. and it's about 400 cheaper in my region than the S21ultra.
Except when it comes to selfies. But I 100% agree with him, Samsung has had issues with anyone with darker skin tones. Hell I've seen it make someone look more pale then they already are (in certain lighting) lol
I'm keeping my Note Ultra for at least the next few years. If the Note line continues I'll be getting the Note 23 Ultra and if it's discontinued I'll probably get the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5. Gr8 vid as usual. 📱 🇺🇸
They are both great phones only differences the note 20 Ultra you can't use the refresh rate with the QHD resolution. I don't care about that I'm going for the better camera that's why I've ordered the s21 Ultra 512gb device in Black from AT&T last Thursday.
Go for note 20 ultra, if you are a phone-grapher! MicroSD is super helpful in store and transfer of huge media easily while keeping internal memory almost empty.
@@albertfonteno8672 Exactly. My charger came in the box. As expected for the price I'm paying. They need to cut the crap and stop trying to learn how to be selfish like the fruit people.
If they do a Note 21 Ultra (fingers crossed) it's going to look phenomenal with this design language with the more squared off aesthetic in matte black. 🤤
I'm waiting for the S21 Utra vs S20 Utra cameras comparison. Especially as a user of the S20 Ultra, I am interested in the deterioration that Samsung made against last year's flagship.
brother ..Now a days flagship camera's r most similar..i mean u dont find any such differences in day to day life...Only in extreme situations u can find some differences and tht too when u keep beside..😉.Btw i love my s20+ 😍😍
The Samsung S20 ultra did not "deteriorate" in terms of camera quality. The S21 Ultra simply has a better camera due to better technology and image processing.
@SuperSaf Worth mentioning that I have damaged fingerprints due to working with my hands. Had a Note 10+ before getting the S21 Ultra and this is the first phone that properly reads my damaged fingerprints. Also worth mentioning that my girlfriend has note 20 ultra and my fingerprints dont work properly on her phone. Super happy with my S21 Ultra
Love my Note 20 Ultra. Sticking with that. I'd love the 10x zoom and macro capabilities of the S21, but I really do prefer the design of the Note and the larger size. Won't be upgrading for a few years. I heard the Note series might be dead, which makes me sad. : (
One very important thing worth noting is that yes the S-pen will work with the s21...HOWEVER it does not have Bluetooth capability for the S-pen, which means all those cool features you could do on the note s20, you won't be able to do with the 21.
@Law Osula I have mine since it came out and battery life has never been an issue but I noticed it's gotten better after the UI version 3.0 so you won't have any issues plus the one thing everyone forget and don't mention is that the note 20 will have updates for 3 years unlimited. Great phone []
I'm interested in the note making and photo editing. I'm told the S21 is more advanced, allowing accurate removal of parts of a photo in the eraser mode for instance.
@@lyndon2487 I hope companies don't start manufacturing screen that are more narrow. Wide is better. Honestly the s21 ultra is fine but anything less wide is a no go foe me.
I think that I would be very annoyed trying to carry an S pen around in my pocket. I have the Galaxy note 20 ultra ultra and I think I'm going to stick with that until the next note comes out.
I got this phone yesterday. I haven't had a samsung in years cause I'm so used to apple, but I am in love with this phone. It is amazing! I still have my iPhone as a comparison but so far samsung wins in innovation
@@AlGhaith000 idk why so many of you goons are saying there won't be a note 21...... a quick Google search will show you samsung stated they're "committed to the note 21 line"
I don't think you'll be getting the Note 21 Ultra, no one is actually, because now that the Note series' unique feature(s) are now being transferred to the S Series(being the S21 Ultra), Samsung themselves announced that the making of Note phones has been cancelled, not sure if that's going to be permanent or not, but it is very mostly likely going to be, therefore the Note 21 series may never come out unless Samsung miraculously decides to..😔
@@space-eye7760 I haven't heard anything from Samsung themselves about cancelling the Note 21. Did you actually see an article/video of Samsung themselves claiming that, or are you making that up?
@@mikeacheampong. Yeah but you have to buy it separately & you also have to buy a special case. So that s-pen can fit in it. It makes the phone look wider aswel. @@jamieslater8991 You aren't really paying for less. The S21 variants are much cheaper than their predecessors, and much more worth it if you ask me. Besides, the free buds pro for preorders is such a good deal
