@@rabnam-nb2wf i agree. flat display may be more practical in some cases, but holding the 22U, 23U, and 24U all side by side and the 24 ends up looking cheapest. even in the frontal and profile marketing pics that Samsung releases for each phone, the 24U has a much less futuristic, less modern look to it. plus, the curve on the 23U was so minor that i call bs on everybody saying it caused issues. i owned the S20+, 22U, and 23U so i've seen what a problematic curved display looks like (22U), and the 23U was just fine.

@@darthraider450 Android had all kinds of displays.. be it bezel less,Flat ,curve even before apple's thinnest bezel phone(15 pro max) but the thing here is the curve display sets apart Samsung from the competition and it does look superior to it than any other, also it's kind of a brand image for S line-up to have a curved display which is now losing imo

U should probably even wait for the s26 ultra, despite the issues with Exynos and worse battery, it still feels very powerful and premium, and you can still have the latest OS until then, if u have the Snapdragon variant, even better. honestly it's not abt when u upgrade, u should target to keep your phone as long as possible until it's ancient, phones getting more powerful means they are more sustainable as they'll still pack some power by the end of the decade.

@superblaze9079 Thanks bro! Yes, if the S25U doesn't greatly improve my life, I can hang onto my S22U another year. It'll all depends on what new features are offered. Honestly, for my own personal daily use, I could not justify most of the new AI features. They're cool, but I would not use most of them very frequently. Btw, I have the Snapdragon version, and my battery does get me full day of use. Cheers, friend. ✌️

👑 I did My pre-order for the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra in Titanium Blue. I am upgrading from the Note 10 Plus, that I got on pre-order 4 years ago. The Truth is I wouldn't be upgrading if not for the fact Samsung is no longer supporting OS or security updates for Note 10 Plus. My Note has been working smoothly and powerfully since day one of ownership.Nevertheless I do like fact now that instead of 4 years of OS and security updates from Samsung with my Note. I will now get 7 years of OS and security updates with the S24 Ultra.

I am trading my S23U in. I purchased a 256gb version for $900 at Best Buy in September of 23. Samsung offers $750 plus $150 pre-order credit, which is the $900 I paid for my S23U. On top of that, the S24U has 512gb and Samsung through in a pair of buds for free. Thank you, Samsung. I was originally waiting for the S24U before I purchased the S23U, but the S20 plus I had suffered the green screen of death, so I had to purchase a phone asap. Again, thank you, Samsung, for coming through.

The camera looks dope but there's a big update rolling out on the 23rd....maybe you could check it out again after that update. And it's rolling out to all models. This is normal but there was a heck of alot of argument on X and the camera was specifically mentioned. Otherwise great video as usual.

I think both Supersaf and Tech Chap said the screen colours are a bit more muted this year, do you find that to be the case as well? I love the bright punchy colours on Samsung screens so I hope they’re wrong! 😅

Yeah Supersaf is richt. The Colors are muted on the s24 ultra. Not nearly as vivid as any other Samsung.

Can u test to see if u connect thunderbolt usbc cable to a nvme high speed storage. Will u be able to record video/pictures to external drive like ifone 15pm. When thunderbolt cable connected to high speed the pro-res is activated to save space on internal. My s23u cant record video to exteral nvme storage

Is that confirmed there will be a patch? Doubt there will be much improvements, but we'll see. I'd hope so. You can see a drastic difference on the x100 zoom. Bird is far clearer on the s23. Regardless, I doubt I'll be using x100 all that often lol. Still, it's a newer model, so I'd still like the shot to look better. As far as the lower zooms go, the comparisons look roughly the same. So again, I don't know what they'd be doing with a patch.

@@EL-kf9vi They haven't released the S24 yet. They don't ship to customers until the 30th. And a day-one patch is very common in the electronics industry. Even console manufacturers are known for it. This is because the phones are packaged a few months before shipment. In the meantime, developers are still fine-tuning software that whole time.

According to AllAboutSamsung's Max Jambor, Samsung will release an update to the Galaxy S24 series on January 23 to “enhance performance and improve camera functionalities.” The update will likely come pre-loaded on the retail units that will reach customers over the coming days, but if not, it should be downloadable out of the box, according to SamMobile. Samsung already knows software updates are needed for the latest Galaxy S flagship lineup to perform optimally. So, the day one patch will bring a few fixes out of the gate. Another update will likely optimize thermal temperatures with the S24 Ultra, which should drop soon after launch.

Any thoughts on Vivid mode not working? Settings-->Display-->Screen Mode-->Vivid isn't doing anything. It's just Natural (even when vivid is selected), and most people switch from Natural when they get their Samsung phone.

You are right about it, most ppl will wrap this phone like a baby, considering how expensive it is . The titanium frame feels the same to the touch as a brushed aluminium frame. The only upgrade would be flat screen over the s23u,which in fact has very minimal curved edges anyway

it is nice to see the flat screen. curved screen looks nice. but i dont like the light glare / reflections you get on the edges when you are outside. it makes the screen seem smaller in width

Hey Parker there's an update coming on January 23rd for the s24 ultra it's for the camera and other things in the camera I'm not sure what it is but I saw something in RU-vid or someone talking about it so it's going to be on January 23rd I think you know about it too so check it out if it's going to improve the camera probably take care great video😊

@3:44 i saw a bug or glitch in switching cameras. I hope samsung can fix this thru software update for smoother video camera switching or i think this is normal because apple shows the same

Nice video thank you. But help me understand the 3x vs 5x optical portrait mode. Isn't 5x portrait the same as 3x but 2 steps back? Like 3x portrait is the same as 5x with 2 steps forward? Isn't it the same frame? I have a 3x optical portrait Fold 5 and I can get the the same frame as my friends Note 20U with 5x optical portrait. Also when the Note 20U had 5x optical portrait, nobody like it and said it was too close? Now iphone has it 3-4 years later everyone loves it?

If it's true no problem. I'm mainly getting the 24 ultra because of the way better battery life, better camera and faster, brighter and less reflective display. Those features alone will make up for a truly awesome upgrade from my Note 20 ultra.

You either buy the higher end or if you can’t afford it you wait longer until you can… for example the S 23 ultra is way better than the +24 and is like this every year it’s better idea just to buy older model ultra so I don’t really understand who would buy the plus models probably people who don’t know what they’re doing like naïve people like older people or girls.

Guys, I have a S21+ and it is really laggy, everytime I use the camera, Bluetooth or 4g/5g, it gets sooo laggy and it has lots of frame dropping. Is the s23ultra the same? Do you recommend the s23U or S24U? Or even the 15pro max (Knowing the difference between the prices). I'm really into photography and stuff, which one should I get?

12GB RAM with the newer processor will have your new phone singing all day, your current phone has 8GB RAM with an older processor I’d upgrade if I were you to the S24+.
