did not work with LG v30 (2019) worse bit my phone started to lag and screens touch response would freeze had to factory rest phone to fix it. I asume conflict with Samsung plugin etc

was this done on Android 8 and 9 ? as iv read 7 back it can be done but not 8 and up. I cant get this to work and Im on Android 8

Are you getting this error : The operating system on your phone has been modified in an unauthorized way, and is not compatible with the Samsung Gear app. Check your operating system and try again ?

The development for this app has now stopped. This might not work on newer versions of android!

Hard Reset Gear 2. Uninstall and reinstall gear app from your smartphone. It should work fine!
