As long as this tv can display true lifelike (better than 1080p) detail from my blu-ray sit-coms , then this tv is the one for me ! Thanks for posting.

Have the 75QN85A and love it! Even though IPS type panel..has great contrast/brightness/blacks and we lucked out with a totally clean panel ( no DSE).

I just bought one today via a prime day sale. I’m worried about the ips thing but every time I saw the tv on display it just really stood out. It seems to have great brightness really good blacks and very little blooming straight on. Do u still like the tv? The picture just looks so punchy I anted one

Idk how they made an ips look this good but it's the best I've ever seen. Like how tf did they get blooming under control so well and how are the blacks that deep with such low native contrast it's crazy what samsung did here props to them lol the ips almost gives a glow like oled tvs do of course not the same level but the brightness makes up for it lol

Hi! I think it might have something to do with light conditions and angle. You do notice a bit of blooming at around 5:40 but I have one of these at home and the blooming is much more noticeable in dark scenes when wall mounted. Overall though, I didn't really notice it that much 👍

The picture quality looks good even though it's an IPS panel. Colors seem vibrant and contrast looks great as well.

Can you set this TV up as a basic TV without Internet or account like you can on the sony without any problems. This is quite important to me because I don't have Internet & won't for quite some time. I just wanna watch the TV For Now. Sony worked great for this. I'm interested in this for my second TV because The Sony X90J Is not at all what I hoped it would be. It's a pretty big step down in picture & Quality from the X95J I own & love. I'm returning the X90J & looking To Get This. Thanks for your help.

@@stillirise85O I have never owned such a big screen size so I cannot really comment but I would say it is a matter of sppace maybe it is a good idea to go for the 75 one and see how you like it if after a week or so you want a bigger screen then return it and go for the 85 I hope my suggestion was able to help you

I have had this tv for over a month now and bought directly from Samsung's website. It was £1999 from £2500 and I've just seen it drop another £300, now £1700? Bargain! This tv is absolutely incredible after moving away from my old curved 48" 4k 2016 model. After 4 years the tv decided to get a bad burn in and went purple! Luckily with this new tv you can register for a 10year burn in warranty direct from Samsung and also the 5 years standard. No need to upgrade now for quite a while!

I just got a replacement of this today as the one before had a green dead pixel in the middle of the screen that development after 16 days of using it (mostly for gaming) they said its a rare problem I'm hoping my replacement doesn't do the same thing as I love the tv 😂 PLEASE keep the box for at least 30 days if you decide to buy this or any other tv, it's a struggle to keep a massive box I live in a tiny room but it's worth it if something happens to the tv

Doesn’t this TV actually have an ADS panel? How does this TV perform in a dark room? I have a 65” Q70R. Would this QN85A be a substantial upgrade over the Q70R? Cheers!

tv and movies, i will suggest LG c1, my opinion... if you're tv setup is in a light room many windows, maybe the only reason i would choose this one. This tv is better for gaming and if you love bright image...

Hello, thanks for the review. Would you mind doing one for the QN90A ADS which you currently sell? 😀 Or if not, are you able to tell me any key differences between it and the QN85A. I'd be so appreciative if this comment doesn't fly unnoticed as many of mine seem to on other tech channels 😬

Hi! Unfortunately we don't have any plans to review the QN90A any time soon. We did do a review on the QN94A though which is very similar, it just has better anti-glare and a wider viewing angle, basically a few more luxuries 😉 The QN85A is the lowest priced 4K Neo QLED Samsung do in their 2021 with the minimum amount of features whereas the QN95A is the highest with all the features. The 90A is kind of the best of both worlds in the middle if that makes sense!

It's their cheapest Neo QLED. Of course, they have regular QLEDs but the 85A is the budget version of the Neo QLED.

@@1981fuentes Finally, I've decided to go for 65QN85A, and I don't regret it at all The brightness, the colour and the HDR is so amazing, if you want brighter TV go for QN90A, but IMHO QN85A is bright enough for my eyes

Pretty well to be honest! It did a really good job with shows like Star Trek before it's been restored. The picture was very clear and sharp even on a 65 inch TV 👍

Which one is the hdmi 2.1 and is it 120 ? Is it full array lighting?

Hdmi 4 is only 2.1 on USA models .. Europe gets 4 hdmi 2.1 on qn90a while us version get still 1 and no one connect box .. this is Mimi led back lit so over 500 zones maybe 700 the qn90a has over 700

In EU QN90a is same crap as this QN85a both with ADS panels. Returned my QN90a after 4 months of use becouse horrible clouding appeared.

Not miss information. I say that it's low end in the QN Neo QLED range which it is. I'm only considering the QN series in this video, not accounting for the Q range. There are different ranges within Samsung's 2021 line up from the AU and Q range to the 8K Neo QLED.
