Without seeing your refrig, it would be hard to tell. My water dispenser on/off toggle snapped but it did not cause a leak. On my refrigerator a leak or bottom drawer "pooling water" is from the water line to the ice maker freezing up. Check underneath the bottom drawer and see if you have ice or water building up. Unfortunately, it is a common thing with this model. We don't use the ice maker any longer... back to ice cube trays to avoid this water pooling. Best of luck to you!
@pgm11970 This is a common problem with this refrigerator. If you were to empty the refrigerator and defrost it you may find ice sticking to the bottom of the lowest drawer and maybe the back lower wall of the refrigerator. You may also find your ice maker eventually stops working. Unfortunately, I have not found a permanent solution (and I’ve tried 4-5 fixes found. I have however, found that by shutting off the ice maker we don’t have the water pooling any longer. However, we are back to using ice cube trays. One could assume the water line to the ice cube maker keeps freezing up and backs up into the fridge and makes a mess. Try defrosting and shutting off the ice maker. See if that stops the pooling. Hope this helps.
Yes. It is easy to break if it is pressed high on the rubber lever. Less often so the lower you push on the rubber covering the lever. Hope this helps 🙂
