Can I transfer data from an s10+ and an SD card to an s23 all in one go ?

Upgraded from a cheap Tracfone Galaxy A20 to a top of the line S22 Ultra. This was a real pain in the neck. The A20 didn't seem to really like the app, sometimes crashing immediately when launching, often times not prompting me to allow the S22 to access it. Took several retries to finally get both phones to play nice.

Does either phone need a SIM card installed in order to do this? If a SIM card is required, then assuming that I have only one working SIM card (since I am switching phones on the same carrier), should the transfer be done while the SIM card is in the old phone or do you do it after installing the SIM card in the new phone?

I did this and it work about 60 percent. I have everything on my sd card which is in my old phone. My biggest concern was with the Samsung Music player. All my Playlists are there BUT all the songs are missing except a few songs i had on the internal storage which i sent from my old samsung phone to the new one. So most of my playlists are empty except for a few of them with have one or two songs in then. I tried to resolve this problem by inserting the SD card into my new phone but NOTHING. They are still empty! Yes the sd card is detected but all my Playlists on Samsung Music app (my favorite music app) are missing songs. All of them except for the few on the internal storage. I have hundreds of playlists, and thousands of songs! That's why i keep almost everything on my sd card so i can easily swap over my media without having to wait downloading or transfering stuff. Plus all my music won't even fit in my internal storage (64GB). My SD card has 120GB of data I'vd used! How do i fix the playlists problem? I can't go song per song, playlist to playlist, I would take at least a year to do that! From Note 4 to S9 on Andriod 10

Hello, I just move the data from samsung s7 to s21 with samsung smart switch wireless. But after finish, I found that my notes from the old device not move at all and then some of the photos not all moves to the new device. After I check, the photos that not moves to the new device are stored in clouds. So how can I moves the photos that stored in clouds to device, so I can move all the photos to the new device? thanks in advance.

This has worked great for in my last transfer to a new phone. But this latest time using Smart Switch, it is telling my that my OLD phone doesn't have enough memory to to the transfer. Why does that matter? I'm moving the data/apps/images to the NEW phone which has way more memory. Why is the memory of the old phone an issue?

You first need to make sure you have the latest update for smart switch or else it will not work. That is the problem i ran into even if connected via USB.
