This was an awesome video. I had gotten to the part where the lid needed to come off and you had reached the same conclusion I did. I said well crap at least I knew not to keep searching for a way to disconnect the whole lid. Also the calabration hot keys was a good tip as well
Wow thanks for your video Had a professional come look at it and they said 800 to fix I did it less than a 100 thanks to you Thanks you saved me a boat load of money
Really wish this video showed how to get the main control panel off instead of just still pictures after it has been removed. I removed the screws as shown, how do you actually get it to disconnect from the part that is closest to the lid?
I change the suspension rods and did that calibration and it still going out of balance on the last your video you said you did some adjustments can you tell me what you did
I have the same washer, after removing all the same screws the control panel still won't come off it seems to be stuck at the back- the part that touches the lid. Did it just come off or did you have to apply a little force?
@@lisaannh.y.357 there are three screws that connect the display face piece to the motherboard piece on the top of the washer. I unscrewed those and unhooked the two electrical cable/ribbons that connect the two pieces. This gave me more of an ability to move the lid. I did not completely remove the lid. I was able to lift the lid up safely at a 45° angle and maneuver the rods out and replace them.
The video lose me a bit confused I appreciate you posting the whole process but it seems to have gone out of balance pretty quickly even with the new springs I’m having the exact same problem with the exact same machine not sure if I should try to replace the rods or just get a new machine?
I hate to say it but you may have a drive system problem if your tub is still bouncing after replacing suspension. Possible inner tub problem which is bad news for the machine.
The other thing I’d check Is if these “new” suspension rods are OEM Samsung not cheap amazon aftermarket. I also heard you’re supposed to use dampening grease on the bushings of the suspension rods.
Make sure the washer is empty. Power it on and hold down temp and delay end simultaneously. Your display will change then just hit start. Takes about 2 minutes for test to complete
