i sorta wish the opposite, because historically yukimura is just a ronin during the osaka siege and he isn't a perfect samurai as the game wants to tell you so. he is just an opportunist that clearly wanted a land after they won against the tokugawa.
@@faust9741 Yukimura defended the true heir of japan, hideyoshi's son , so he wasnt a ronin , tokugawa broke a pact and managed to gather all the rest of japan to attack the heir , and so yukimura defended him with all he had and lend a final charge directly to ieyasu tokugawa, thats why he is called the hero of japan , crimson demon of war , and " a hero that appears once in a hundred years".
@@domenicocatenacci3250 he was a ronin at the time, he was stripped from his fief and was kicked out from the sanada clan. When hideyori is gathering troops in Osaka he was invited by him personally as the general in which he agrees upon on. The Tokugawa didn't broke a pact because hideyori at the time was already an adult which is 21 years old and the pact was to prepare hideyori to be the heir of the toyotomi clan which they all have done. The ones that truly broke the pact was the toyotomi when they force the last remaining oda remnants to submit to their rule during the battle of komaki-nagakute and also shizugatake. The posthumous titles that you read happens years after sanada nobushige (yukimura)'s death and it is based on novels. Hideyori by all means isn't the true heir of japan because if he is then nobukatsu oda was suppose to be the one that replaces nobunaga oda not hideyoshi toyotomi.
