I live 5 minutes away, those residents should have cut down all those over grown weeds near there houses , this mountain always catch’s fire and they still don’t take precautions
hard to feel sorry for them, even my friend lost a home, house on both sides, 30 feet clear of weeds and their house was fine, they did not clear the weeds came right to the house from wildfire and lost their home. see how black it is up to the burned houses. Insurance companies canceled me for a tree branch over my roof. They will stop insuring these homes before long

The spread and distribution of a wildfire is independent of the source of ignition. A fire accidentally started by a camp fire is not going to spread differently than a teenager shooting off a Roman candle into dry brush.
it's called a brush fire and believe or not, the causes of them are well-known and easily accessible through this amazing process called 'looking it up'
@@XLNT357 It is boring to point out that there are various different causes of brush fires, and that most often the cause of the fire is determined, and that it is really easy to find publicly-available information regarding the cause of a specific fire?

@@Needglory23 90% of western US wildfires are human-caused. Arson is estimated to account for 10-20% of wildfires. Human-caused is not synonymous with arson. They determined Edgehill was human-caused. PD briefly detained and released someone without charges. There is a good chance of arson, so predicting the cause of arson is what is called a high-probably prediction. As far as I can tell they are still investigating. I form my predictions based on probabilities. Most common causes happen most commonly, less common causes less commonly, rare causes rarely.
