I understand why the NFL counts the specialist as active roster members but I don't know why do they ? When EVERY TEAM has to have 3 on their active on roster... Switch out those 3 players for additional depth on thinning areas or additional depth ? Of course all players would count towards the salary cap but it raises consistently as well as an 18 week,17 game ( minimum )schedule. Just saying, it could help.

i am super excited to see pearsall aiyuk and deebo on the field at the same time. i think they are gonna change the freedom purdy has in his throws. Pearsall and aiyuk have some history and are ready to play together. I bet pearsall shows out to prove he has kept up with aiyuk.

@@salaplaylistfast5369 im pretty sure we would have gotten xavier worthy if chiefs didnt trade up right in front of us and grab him, but after scouting what pearsall can do i am very confident we made the right choice. My biggest concern is that we didnt replace colton mckivits as a starter

You lost me at cutting Mitchell. There is no way they will cut him unless he got injured in Preseason. Willing to bet and give you 2:1 Odd if you want to bet. They might trade him, but they will NOT CUT HIM.

Niners can go 5 RB/FB with Guerendo playing backup fullback. That will mean less WR. Someone will get injured and placed in IR for the WR and RB room. McCaffrey, Mitchell, Mason, Juice and Guerendo would be my Rb room. Aiyuk, Deebo, Jj, Pearsall, Cowling and Conley would be my WR room. I would then go with 3 TE. Guerendo should do spot duties at TE.

Thanks Chase....great concept today. I would have us at 96. Still elite because our "elite players" are just better than most others. Curious to see how the Arik Armstead hole is filled and what we decide at CB positions. It's obvious...we can run it back and be right there again. minus a fluck play the past few years we could have had 3-4 more SB wins since 2012. Bang Bang!!

Madden wise we are at least 86-90 this year with Purdy getting more respect with his overall rating but the defense dropping a bit.

Is it too far fetched to believe that Schrader makes the team over Mason ? I hate that, I really do but I'm also looking towards the with the benefits of having a fresh crew come in within the next 2 years. I can see Gergendo stepping in/replacement in for Juice, if he's capble/willing to play FB, is that too far fetched ?

No matter who gets cut we MUST CUT THOMAS FIRST. HE IS WITHOUT A DOUBT THE WORST PLAYER (AT ANY POSITION) on this football team.So any cut list must have him at the top!!!!

😂Agree, Hard for drafted rookies n UFAs to make 53 or practice squad. Expose to Waivers. Some vets will need to be cut. But Niners need to get younger, better n cheaper. Niners/Kyle doesn't play the backups enough to give experience n see potential. Some players are gamers, don't see talent until in game. Also rest starters more for playoff, since many older players. Niner/Kyle seem to favor vets over rookies. Vets know the playbook n scheme. But rookies bring enthusiasm n energy. CB Thomas was good at times. RB Mitchell is good, but hurt often. Backups need to play special teams. SS Hufag n LB might start season on Pup. CB Luter needs time to show what he has. Need FS to replace Gibson. Niners interest in Seattle FS. Brown, Hufag, Mustafa appear to be SS. TE backup is unknown. Pline might need a yr. WR Conley might be a practice squad guy, they move up when needed. Normal 8-10 O-line n 8-9 D-line. More LBs n DBs for special teams. Good selection for now. But OTA n camp n preseason see players potential or injuries changes the roster projection.
