San Gorgonio - First time Hiking San G
My friend Dhiana and I met at the Big Falls parking lot at 5:45 am and there were a few cars. The regular bathrooms were closed, most likely due to COVID-19 but there are Porta potties.
For this hike, I came prepared with a total of three liters of water. My water bladder holds two liters and I brought two additional 16-ounce water bottles. Dhiana brought 3 liters of water along with a Gatorade and a White Claw.

Dhiana and I hike this trail July 12,2020 and the weather was perfect, we brought a jacket but didn’t need it. Summit was windy but not as windy as it normally is. At the summit, there were a few patches of snow on the north face of the mountain.
There were lots of bugs. I didn’t bring bug spray and got bit nineteen times, two on my face, and the rest on my arms.
At mile 13, I ran out of water, but I had an emergency water pack a fellow hiker gave me. I was also able to fill up my water bladder thanks to some campers that let me use their water filter. We finished the hike at 8:55pm and
