Rather disappointing stop over at San Pedro del Pinatar followed by a fantastic couple of days by one of the best beaches we've been to so far on this trip at Mazarrón
Hi, Good question. I wondered when someone would ask :-) Luckily it doesn't apply to us because Donald has an Irish passport and so remains a European citizen. Under the European Directive 2004/38/EC - 'The right of all Union citizens to move and reside freely within the territory of the Member States ... be also granted to their family members, irrespective of nationality.' (para 5) I am still a bit worried as my passport was stamped when we left the UK but we have the directive printed and carry it with us if we are ever questioned.
You are fortunate, we now have to grapple with the 90 in 180 rule, so annoying as we have the time being retired. Maybe you could adopt us as elderly Irish descendants so we can keep our Eurpoean passports. Yes I know - wishful thinking. Feliz Navidad if you are still in Espana.
@@goingmouch3753 , we ensure that our UK motorhome insurance is valid for the length of stay and for the countries we are visiting. We also ensure that the motorhome has a valid MOT as this is a requirement for our UK motorhome insurance. The common visa policy for transit through or intended stays in the territory of a Schengen States of no more than 90 days in any 180 days period is for people not vehicles.
