Hi, we are Donald and Karen Deasy. We purchased our first motorhome in September 2020. We spent a year travelling around England and Scotland at weekends and holidays. We left England in October 21 and are now full time travelling around Europe. Our videos track our journey, mainly so that we can remember where we have been! We also have a blog at deasydoesit.co.uk Please feel free to leave us any comments as it is nice to know other people enjoy what we are doing.
No, we left the filter empty. Turn the ignition on for 30 seconds to prime the fuel pump. Turn off the ignition and repeat 3 times before starting the engine.
Tip: Make sure you can loosen the oil filter a tiny bit before draining the oil. If you first drain the oil and then realize you can't get the filter loose you have a big problem.
The phone mounts are from Brodit. Passenger side mount : Brodit ProClip for Peugeot Boxer 15-24 (LHD) Product Code: 855085 Drivers side mount: Brodit ProClip for Peugeot Boxer 15-24 (RHD) Product Code: 655086 Quadlock Car/Desk Wireless Charging Head which matches the Quadlock case we use on our mobile phones was attached by drilling a hole in the Brodit mounting plate.
Thank you so much for filming this. Wertheim was where my mom was born and raised. As her daughter I visited it with her when I was 11 years old, I am 58 now and your film gave me a chance to see it again. Priceless to me. I walked in that castle when I was just 11 years old, as a little girl when I heard we were going to a castle I thought it would have lush red carpet and gold everywhere, lol..
Very good job but you could have saved youself some trouble by pulling the internal cable down like you did run that into the outside socket first then a single cable back up to the bedroom socket without the need to make a larger hole
Search for "PLS External 13 Amp Socket Box TND 240V Caravan Motorhome Campervan PO139 White" on ebay or search on your web browser for "TND 240V PO139".
It would have been easier to take the back box of the new outlet and hardwire it in your electrics. That would have been easier and save you the extra cost of the 3-way connector.
We’ll be going to south France very soon. So we’ll be taking the euro tunnel. We’ve went on it every year for our holiday. Mostly we drove to Poland which is the country I come from but this time we are going to south France for a change. Looking forward to it.
I use a hook-up "splitter "on the end of my hook-up cable , one of the cables goes where the hook -up input socket enters the van , the second has a two socket r.c.d protected domestic out let , never had any problems, and can switch to my next vehicle in under 2 minutes
Brilliant video thank Have you got a link for the led strip you used Also have I got this right you only need the led strip and not the zigbee hub ? You use the hue bridge and the echo Sorry for the questions I have never purchased led strips before So no idea what they come with Thanks
We use the Philips Hue Bridge (hub) to control the zigbee light strips. The LED light strips are 12 volt RGBCCT 5050 using a Gledopto RGBCCT LED Strip Controller. Make sure to select a 12 volt version of the LED strip and NOT the 24 volt version. There is a newer version of the controller which remembers the power on state - Gledopto GL-C-002P 5 in 1 Zigbee 3.0 Smart Mini RGBCCT LED Strip Controller. www.gledopto.eu/5in1-zigbee-controller-mini-thin-gledopto-eng
Great to see you back! Happy New Year. Whenever I've been to Italy I always have lemon soda, can't get it in England, do you prefer Italy in the winter to Spain and Portugal?
Hi, Happy New Year to you too. We have been a bit tardy with pur uploads recently, this was in the Summer. We still have a few more to do from our last trip, they should be coming soon! We have been back in the UK for a couple of months due to some personal issues but hopefully back on the road soon. Take care and thanks for watching x
I have the same 730 Autograph 👍 love it too bits , currently in France , 3 months of touring ahead of myself, direction 🌞 So , just had an oil change at a local garage..my fuel mpg has dropped from 30 mpg to 24 ? Found out that I should have told them to use a thinner viscosity oil instead of the 5w 30..heading to a French garage now to get them to change it for a 0w 30...fingers crossed that will get my mpg back up..thanks for the video, enjoy looking at her t shirt 😉
Hola, Deasy buen trabajo, poseo una boxer como la vuestra y me gustaria encontrar la bandeja porta-bebidas de la guantera central. Donde la habeis encontrado vosotros? gracias por contestar.
Hi guys just caught up with your Vlogs as we have been away in our Motorhome around Holland and just got back to the UK, love your laid back approach to life and living the dream +€4 for a bottle of wine life don't get any better 😁😁
Do you have an OBD reader that will allow you to see what faults are being displayed by the engine management system? We used a fuel filter tool and made sure it was spotless clean before closing it up at the exact torque specified. We have seen a few videos warning that the fuel filter cap can be twisted if you don't and this allows air into the fuel system and may cause problems.
Yet more inspiration for us to travel abroad in our motorhome! it's your fault we've got one in the first place, but no regrets shame Austria was too cold
We found it quite expensive compared to other European countries, about the same as the UK. We do use the ACSI card for discounts at campsites and the helps. Diesel was €2.04 a litre in May
Roll your front wheels up on the leveling ramps next time..gives you more room to work in... I've just changed our Boxer oil... Sorry but did laugh..the oil does come out in a gush ..live n learn as they say. Good vids guys👍
@@deasydoesit - Did you keep the caravan? I did scan to see if you made any follow up VLOGs on their performance to date. It's frustrating that new vans are only fitted with 110 watt panels. 🤔
@@dazzle52k52 yes. We are currently in Italy. Spent the winter in Spain and Portugal didn't need EHU once. Used it if included in the pitch fees but didn't need it
Great Vlog again guys, we will be looking out for these sites when we are over in Holland later this year 😎.Whats the Safari Chef 2 like is it worth getting one, in your opinion, to be fair your steak dinners looked lush, compliments to the chef 😋
Hi. Thanks for the feedback. I really like the safari chef 2. We can either hook it to the van or portable bottles when we want to take it to the beach. Saves all the mess of a charcoal bbq and we don't have to wait for it to go out
