San Simeon Creek Campground / Carrizo Plain Super Bloom 2023 

During April of 2023, my Mom and I visited Carrizo Plain to check out the super bloom happening on our way to San Simeon State Park Campground near Hearst Castle. We camped on the San Simeon Creek site within the campground, which we thought was just really pretty and relaxing. It's walking distance to the beach via elevated wooden platforms.
It was our first time visiting this campsite and it won't be the last.
