Wow! I didn’t know you did these sew along vid’s, it’s the ONLY reason I never bought your patterns, until now! I’m such a visual learner it’s ridiculous! Thank you. I’m a seasoned bag maker and I Love the detail you show too. Makes all the difference for me

Another tip for the lining gusset: Draw a line 1" from the long edge you wish to fold. Fold the fabric to that edge and press. This is a great tutorial!

I just finished my first Sandhill Sling! I did get a few pleats but they're not bad. I did waterproof canvas binding method but I'm typically an inside ourlt bag maker so going to try the drop in lining next time. Thank you for these amazing tutorials! I have several of your patterns and love them all!

Thank you Anna! Assembled one of my bags last week but really struggled with getting around those corners using waxed canvas. So glad I waited and watched this video, my second one looks so much better! Really love the look of the waxed canvas on both, but may try a canvas fabric for my third one! Absolutely love this pattern! 😊❤️

Was able to get this Week 3 complete! Can’t wait until next week! I picked up a tip awhile ago for ironing a 1/2 inch and thought I would share. Get a piece of cardboard and draw a 1/2 inch line on it on one of the long ends. Then you can use that as a template to put fabric up to the 1/2 inch and iron it. You can use it over and over because the iron works great over the paper!

Yes, waxed canvas would definitely make it trickier! Glad the video helped!

Anna, I know I'm late to the party, but thank you so much for your sew alongs. They help so much! I don't know if I could have made it through those curved corners with my sanity intact without this particular video 😆

My gusset comes out so big that there are numerous puckers. What am I doing wrong?

Nice video, but that repetitious music in the background is driving me batty. And it really makes it hard to hear for someone with a hearing impairment. Please leave off future videos.
