Nice! Yes, been reliable so far. I have heard from one person that they get quite hot? Haven't experienced this yet personally, but haven't transferred any very large files.
Pete Johns well I leave all of mine permanently connected to my USB hubs and haven’t had any issues with them relating to transferring data. I’ll be buying more again when I need them!
I got one! I love it! Thanks for this video, Pete. I bought the 256gb drive for a bunch of music. What a relief to have an additional offline backup that I can use with my iPad Pro and my Macbook Pro. Yay!
Great video, this was really helpful! Are you still using this with your iPad? How’s your experience with it after a while? I’m planning to get this for my iPad Air 4!
Hey there. It's not bad at all. Does get a little warm at times if I'm doing a lot of transferring and not THE fastest way to transfer, but a great handy option for quick backups.
⚡ Buy the Sandisk Ultra Dual Drive: US - amzn.to/32es9LA UK - amzn.to/2B3V8GO CA - amzn.to/2WiDt5m AU - amzn.to/2WmJoXf USB-C extension cable - amzn.to/2Cvh0M3
Thank you so much for this video! Would this be an option to just store them on the USB drive instead of the big ones? or it's just for moving files...?
Hey there. Not quite sure what you're looking to store on the drive sorry? But it's really best to leave your files on the device and just use USB for backup and storage.
Pete Johns; we have a dongle type hookup for iPad, that has a direct slot for an SD card (2 diff sizes); will this still work in much the same way? Is so- I mean, if you say “yes”, then - Do you think I can transport stuff from my desktop (windows) computer to an SD card, and then into Garage Band on my iPhone or iPads?
So, you probably can but there are much easier ways these days. I would use a wifi drive solution such as this. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FVWVlGtK4rY.html
Hey there. Yes you can play files from a USB drive. If you are using apps of creating videos or music you should always do this on the actual device - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3B7VPYe5rZc.html
Yup. It works with the genuine Apple Lightning to USB 3 adapter as long as it's formatted correctly. Check this link out for details - studiolivetoday.com/usb
Hey there. If both devices support the FAT32 file format then it should. I recommend using something like this however. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4oIejCXh1TQ.html
