I’m American and could hear the American in Cate’s accent. I actually love it. I hear the Australian, too. It just reminds me how diverse she is, tbh. I have always loved foreign culture and language and can speak foreign languages and pick up the accents decently, and I find Australian is the most difficult. I love the Aussies and their accent, though. Hanging out online so much you see so many different peeps from different places, get to chat with them and see how they react when in all kinds of situations. And one thing I’ve noticed is that Australians seem to be genuinely kind and decent people in general. Incredibly likable.
Charissa Nomdeplume I’m an Australian and it baffles me when people say they actually “like” the Aussie accent... When we come home from overseas and hear the Australian accent over the airport announcements, we all internally say “oh my God...! Is that REALLY what we sound like to outsiders? PLEASE tell me that’s not what other people hear when we speak... that sounds like an angle grinder cutting through steel bars...!” (You have to admit, it’s pretty flat and pretty nasal... anything in small doses may sound exotic, but you can DEFINITELY have too much of a good thing... 😉)
Jeovana N not mine either. ☺ Brazilian born & raised here. I was just being cheeky. A lot of American natives have a tricky time discerning them also, depending on how much exposure one has had to them. I have had a good ear for languages and accents since childhood, dunno even why, I guess these things are innate (?). I can pick New Zealander from Aussie, Scotish from Welsh from Irish. And East-ender from High-street snobbery. 😛 But really, it only comes down to being exposed to the subtleties. Watch movies from these countries and regions and you gradually get the details. 😉👍
These women are so funny. The cast is funny. Really alot of funny banter. It almost like they don't realize there's a camera. I am not familiar with Kate Blanchard's work but I do know she is a great actress. Didn't know she's so funny. She's really funny.
I think that part where she said “every time you move it we have to start from scratch” must have been cut. I don’t remember seeing it in the theater and I’ve seen it 3 times.
Karen Kay aww. Damn! I didn’t know he was supposed to have one. It was a good movie though. I’ve seen it three times already! Haha Sarah Paulson was my fav.
Мне очень нравится Кейт Бланшетт австралийская актриса вроли Галадриэль она велеколепно сыграла роль Галадриэль эльфийскую королеву из властелин колец ❤
didn´t get the name of the best actress in history :-( what did they say? I actually love it when they all take together at the same time, sometimes even the same thing...but sometimes I don´ t get it :-)
The said Gena Rowlands. She and her husband John Cassavettes made indie type movies together. He was the director and she was the actress. Check out Faces and A Woman Under the Influence. Their son is John Cassavettes. He directed The Notebook.
Sandra Bullock and Sarah Paulson, I love them so much, speaking about Hailee Steinfeld, my favorite people. This is the best day of my life. I WANT TO SEE THE OCEAN’S 9 MOVIE WITH HAILEE.
This is so odd for me to watch when I think about it. Here these women drop really smart comments and references and lessons, and then they do things that teenagers do, that actually make me cringe. It's a mix of respect/awe and disbelief/cringe. It's like watching them, as individual beings, balance out having fun with friends and being adults that do their jobs(well, I might add).
Ufff, I love the ladies and the movie is good, but who can understand a word of the interview - they are all talking on the same time and loudly...Like to one should have alone the attention even for a moment... I truly wished two will shut up when the other one is talking...
Daisy Rosales you know I'd make fun of you. Tell you that's not what your maw said last night. But clearly you feel the need to drag me down because your a troll or bully. You feel the need to fuck with people and their insecurity hoping to 'trigger' them for amusement in the sad thing you call life. Unfortunately I'm very proud and secure in my sexually orientation if you're not that's a shame and hope that one day you escape this feeling soon. Lot's of love Chloe x
If you move around a lot and live in different places, especially since you were a kid, your original accent kind of gets distorted and you naturally assimilate into the accent of your current location. Happens to me all the time and most of the time I don't realize my accent's shifted until someone points it out.
You're accent shifts when you're around different people- not necessarily permanently. So she adapts little inflections when around American people so it's tricky to filter that out
They are ridiculously entertaining...I was so distracted by their looks while watching the beginning of the movie. It was double whammy entertainment, talent and looks!! Is the entertainment industry really ready for that?
So much sexual undertone vibes in these types of clips. They all know the other is attractive so they naturally have a chemistry about them. It's so cute though :D they're acting like little kids.
This is going to sound weird but sometimes I find the interviewers extremely cringe that I can't watch these interviews but this guy is so relaxed and natural that it was a really comfy watch. Thank you!!
