I watched this with my sister, mom, and step-dad. He laughed throughout the movie but as soon as it was over he says "That was OK for a chick flick". In the years since I have caught this man watching this movie whenever it is on TV. Including once watching 30 minutes of it from the doorway.

Love the fact you just laugh during this entire movie and commentary. Betty will live forever and she’s gold! When she and Sandra are at the campfire, every one in a while I think of this scene and just laugh and sometimes sing it out loud. I also think of my mom too cuz she booty shakes the same as Sandra. 🤣🤣

Greetings from Alaska. It isn't a true 24 hours of daylight until you are far enough north. Where I live im South East Alaska so the on the solicstice its about 21 hours of daylight or about 3 hours from sun rise to sunset

Yeah, I was born and raised in Alaska. You get used to the sun not setting. It still goes down, but the rays still light up the sky at night. So it's not like an afternoon sun at midnight. What sucks is the lack of sun, though. Makes people crazy.

When “Margaret” was telling things about herself to “Andrew” that night after the naked scene, she said she got the tattoo of the swallows after her parents died. She also said her parents were dead when they were in the immigration office. She was an only child. Also, you missed the hilarious scenes when the credits were rolling. Everyone was being questioned by the immigration guy. I actually go back and watch some of your movie reactions multiple times. I enjoy your reactions to movies and vids.

Alaskan here. In the summer the sun sets to just at the horizon so its day light at like 11 pm and in the winter we get like....4 to 8 hours of sunlight depending on where you are. So A. Black out curtains and B. Good headlights in your car

About Alaska and darkness--it depends on how close to the Arctic Circle you are, and I'd imagine that's true worldwide. But Barrow, which is north of the Arctic Circle, is dark for 67 days straight (mid-November to the end of January). In the summer, they get almost 80 days of perpetual sunlight. I think that really messes with people and they end up taping foil over the windows and stuff just so they can sleep. Anyway, you can google Midnight Sun for more info on that. They're in Sitka, though, which is a good bit farther south, so they probably just have long nights in the winter and long days in the summer.
