Sandy wakes up to a bright and clear day in what could be the Serengeti when in fact he is at Baluarte, a nature reserve in Vigan home to incredible animals like giraffe, lions, tigers and zebra.
Today he heads off to Santa Maria to see how Ilocano favorites balicucha and cascaron are made by a village coop. Then he enjoys farm to table dining in Tito Bert’s Garden restaurant. As the sun sets he heads to Ikan Grill for a seafood feast and Ilocos Sur style lechon. He caps the night at Plaza Salcedo dancing along to the neon lights of the dancing fountain.
