A wild camp in the Peak District from a few weeks back. I started off down in the village of Hayfield and made my way up past the Kinder Reservoir. The weather was much better than previous wild camps but the temperature dropped the following morning to 1.6 degrees.

It’s definitely worth doing. William Clough is fun. Be prepared to keep going though as it’s a bit of a false summit when you get to the top of the clough. 😀

Thanks Phil, I do enjoy thinking about the shots and angles. It’s an immersive hobby in many ways. But the pinnacle has to be when everything is set up and nature treats you to an amazing spectacle to watch before you settle in the tent.

You’ll enjoy it! There’s a few ways up to the area around Sandy Heys but the William Clough route was quite steady with a few minor scrambles in places. Will be even better in the summer with the running water around. Also good for the old water filter.

Great viedo mate. Some lovely views and looks wonderful weather for it. The friendliness of other walkers is always a great thing I find, it feels like everyone is just happier to be outside without the pressures of life!

Wonderful video. I've just started investigating Kinder, spent 2 days up there this week and going up for another couple of days next week so was interesting to see this route up there 👍. Glad you're still enjoying the cloud peak my Claudia bent a pole on Snowdon a couple of weeks ago I'm just waiting for a replacement to arrive 🤞 . I thought she'd stood up to the winds but on closer inspection i found the bent section😢 although it was gusting at 50mph so can't fault her really.

Really enjoyed this one Gav, used to go up William Clough most Sundays with the dog.A good lung buster that😂😂 some nice camping spots on the snake pass side too👍👍They used to do a decent breakfast in the cafe above the outdoor shop in Hathersage if it's the one I think you mean.Try to limit my visit to there now cause I always spend to much 😂

now thats what i like about your videos buddy is your never in a rush dead layed back not like on some peoples videos were its seems to be lets get to camp then its a few shots of there tent and then there getting up of a morning and packing up so keep doin what your doing in your video buddy because you inspire us lazy people lol😊👍
