As much as i enjoy anime, that would be a terrible idea, warhammer designs are waaay too detailed for 2d animation. You would have to sacrifice all the fluidity and movement

Hey guys, just wanted to address one comment I've seen a few times now, regarding the part during the fight where they hit the titan. I think you all are likely right in saying that their fight continues inside the titan, I must have just misread that part! So, my apologies. I don't think it makes a massive difference overall we can chalk it up to artistic adaption lol Also thank you for all the kind comments I'm glad you liked this style of storyboarding/animation and it's been really fun to bring some visuals to these stories we all know and love. It is awesome, and we are longing for more! Their flight is so characteristical. Angelic Sanguinius is so graceful in the air, while Angron is being completely opposite, a heavy overwhelming monster. It looks great Perhaps it is obvious because of likes and other stuff, and so there is no need in one more complementary comment, but I cannot pass by...) Good luck! I will definetly check your other works, but I hope we will see continuation soon) P.S. english is not my native language, and I hope my sentences don't sound too awkward)

Mine is tight after passing through the Titan, Angron lift Sanguinius to smash him harder into the ground and said him painfully against the ground up to the imperial steps. Such a awesome moment in the fight, showing how furious and mad Angron is!

i love their expressions in general 0:28 when Sanguinius has a "bitch you thought you could catch me?' expression. And then the confidence gets shaken right as angron takes him through the titan. It's so good. And then you get to see Angron's expressions as he ragdolls Sanguinius along the ground. He's got such a good combination of focus and rage, figuring out how to break his brother.

Finally somebody not showing Angron as a incompetent brute, Just because sanguineous is the best son (which he pretty much is and I'm not even a blood Angels guy) it still doesn't mean he can just beat anyone with breeze, this really shows that no matter how good he is Angron is still a beast when going against him demon or not. Loved this!!!!!!! One of these days us lone War Hounds will put our fallen father and brothers to rest when we break the nails that enslaved them to Khorne!!!!!!

@@ironduke5058Sangiunius far out lasses Angron that failure of a son for both Khorne and the Emperor Kharne was able to hold his own for a couple minutes against him Sanguinius in a single fight -Thousands of chaos space marines and Demons, Ka’Bandha, and Angron then a Juiced up Horus who he almost beats but for being so juiced. There is zero comparison Sangiunius Smokes Angron on Every level and Angron begged when Sangy ripped hos butchers needles from his Dome

All the Horus heresy should be done in animation. Yes, live action is great, but for this kind of saga, you need a way to keep the characters with a certain look for a long time and animation offers that. Plus the GW animations are amazing and could be done in a style similar to that, that would be epic and probably cheaper than live action.

(And most terrifyingly, despite their rage their minds are intact) According to logic, how would Perturabo seal his pact with Khorne, destroying first Monarchia and then Olympia? Can he become a master of destructive Metal Magic, then creating bloodthirsty Sorcerers of Khorne in his army? Perfect example is the magic of Azariah Kyras as the Daemon Prince of Khorne! Aaron Dembski Bowden is a chaos worshipping demon lover, but god damn do his action scenes grab you by the throat, tear you from your seat and send you on a chaotic, tumultuous, heart pounding journey from beginning to end. This siege of terra series has created the best action set pieces in the entire Heresy, as they should and Black Library has not disappointed but a scene where Sanguinius single handedly executes three titans, to this fight, to the absolute savagery that was Mortarion vs The Khan, to the brutality of Magnus vs Vulkan the SOT series has absolutely kicked ass in nearly every way. To see the sacrifices in blood, the loyal primarchs must make in order to defeat their chaos infused brothers really demonstrates how far the demons have truly burrowed and suffused every cell of the fallen primarchs body.

I love this animation, when I’m reading/listening to books I like imagine sequences like this. Though I feel like this could be further improved with a little detail. (Don’t fix it, this is just me rambling) 0:22 here I imagined Sanguinius flying close enough to the building that Angron in his demonic form bashes into it, signifying how despite both being flight worthy, one has the grace while the other is more of a brick.

Cool, really nice. Admittedly I'd have prefered them not actually fighting, as it was in the older lore, but hey, it makes for a cool scene, even if it makes the Sanguinius beating the Bloodthirster moment seem less important in the seige.

How? Sanguinius Beat Ka'Banda AND Angron consecutively. Sanguinius know's he's going to die on the Vengeful Spirit to Horus, he know's he can't lose to them.

@@redhandtheblack My point was that Sanguinius beating Ka'Banda was a bigger point in the older lore before joining the Emperor and Dorn for the assault on Horus. Also in the older lore Angron never fought Sanguinius, he was leading the assaults on Terra while the events unfolded on the Vengeful Spirit, and was the last traitor Primarch to leave, accepting that he had eternity to eventually bring Terra down. Him throwing down against Sanguinius and being banished was a bit of a curveball to expectations.
