One of my favourite breakfast soft, spongy, sweet, steamed rice cake. The Chinese hawkers here in Malaysia, make and sell these rice cakes. Can get it in three colours, pink, white and brown. It makes a very filling breakfast. If made without sugar, it can be enjoyed for lunch or dinner, with all the different gravies. It makes a good substitute for idlies. You have inspired me to cook this steamed rice cake. I will be having it for my Sunday morning breakfast. Thank you for sharing. All the best.
