Sanremo YOU for its smaller boilers and quicker heat up times. And for a very receptive product development team listening and working against user feedback.

I would like to test these 1:1 against each other.😉 The R91 is up to temperature in under 10 minutes, without a steam boiler even in 8 minutes. Of course, I haven't fully heated the bottomless portafilter yet. But with a flash, this can also be used. Even if it were 15 minutes and You only needed 13 (I don't know how long You needed). If you really care about the minute, you should buy a Thermoblock machine! I have now seen both machines live and I can say that the R91 is better made and better materials were used. The saturated brewing group is made entirely of stainless steel! The chassis is completely made of stainless steel! No plastic installed on the machine! The drip tray is made of thick stainless steel. The grid on the drip tray is made of thick stainless steel. I can start and end my shot manually using the paddle and it can still run this shot with the selected pressure profile program! I can prove this with 5 parameters. The You can only be controlled by hand using the paddle and cannot run a programmed pressure profile program with the paddle. The programs can also only be assigned 3 parameters. There is also certain information in the operating instructions for how long water and steam should be used. The R91 is basically a gastro machine and does not have this limitation. Of course, the You still provides enough steam and water. The R91 has no WiFi connection and therefore no access to a large community. If that is important to you, you have to buy the You! If that's not important to you, you should definitely take a look at the R91 before making a purchase decision! When it comes to energy efficiency, it must be said that the You certainly uses less electricity due to its small boiler. But honestly, if you spend that much money on a coffee machine, you probably don't care that much. Both are great portafilter machines and due to their different priorities, they basically appeal to 2 different types of buyers! You have to see what suits you better personally!

@@Chemari I'm very happy with the display, but I'm not a computer nerd either.🤷 My machine is only 1 year old. It also received a cleaning program, which was not yet programmed in the older machines. The You's display is certainly more modern and shows more graphics. But I don't need that, I just want to have coffee from the machine and not have a display like on a computer. It is a clear display and shows me the important parameters such as time and the ML information in such a way that they catch my eye. Programming the pressure profile programs is also very easy. I can enter 5 different pressures and times per program.
