Ingredients :
To prepare the pastry at home
for the loaf
500g Butter
150 g strong flour
To prepare the pastel
350 g strong flour
1 large egg yolk
175 g Water
10 g Salt
Method
Mix all the ingredients for the dough, wrap it in cling film and put it in the fridge.
Also add the Pastello ingredients, mix together, make a ball and cover it with a damp cloth and put it in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
Remove everything from the fridge and roll out the crayon into a rectangle, place the dough in the center and wrap it as in the video, then fold in three and in four.
withdrew in the refrigerator for 60 minutes.
Remove from the fridge and repeat the fold of three and one of four.
put your pastry back in the fridge for 2 hours but also for the whole night.
Now you can use it.
roll out the dough to the desired thickness, make holes with a fork and cook at 220-230 degrees in a static oven until golden brown.
Don't be in a hurry, let your pastry be well cooked before removing it from the oven.
