"Santa Claus" and family get an unexpected surprise from a Secret Santa

The EastIdahoNews.com team is busy helping a local Secret Santa give $1 million to deserving people in eastern Idaho this holiday season. Every day, from now until Christmas, we will post videos of the recipients being surprised with these life-changing gifts.
You will never meet a man who encompasses the true meaning of Christmas more than Kurt! He has surprised neighbors with books and gifts and helps people feel loved during a season when they may feel lonely - all in a Santa costume.
He will drop everything to help people move, trim up trees, shovel snow and many more things with a smile on his face.
His five little elves (girls) are always there with him helping their dad do these acts of service.
Kurt has always had a love for Christmas and the joy it brings to others. A goal of Kurt's has always been to have a nice Santa suit and go around bringing Christmas joy to boys and girls of all ages.
He has made appearances at church Christmas parties and personal home visits on Christmas Eve with no expectation of
payment. Kurt is a kind-hearted man who truly loves Christmas and everyone.
Kurt and his family love watching the East Idaho News Secret Santa videos, which have encouraged his family to try to do their part to bless the families around them.
His borrowed Christmas outfit is showing a lot of wear and he could certainly use a new suit to help him surprise many more this Christmas season.
Secret Santa asked the East Idaho News elves to pay Kurt a visit with a Christmas surprise. Watch the video above to see how it turned out!

I am 38 years old. I dressed up as Santa 3 years ago after my daughter was born at her daycare. That was the best Christmas I've ever had. It was so much fun to see those kids eyes light up when they saw Santa. So I know this guy's feeling when he dresses up a Santa he loves it. Just glad you can help him out secret santa

My father dressed as Santa for over 50 years. Between his wig and beard and costume he spent over 1500 every year. Not sure what happened to his suit and hair after he passed but what a joy it was when I was able to drive him around after he lost his vision.He truly loved bringing joy and happiness to those he met.

Seeing thiis man and his familty that brings Christmas joy to others get the gift of a custom Santa Suit was wonderful. His wife said he so wanted a suit of his own & was excited for him.The money will help with the gas they pay on their own for all the drivinig they must do. I had an aunt that passed away at 45 years old and she had a customized Santa suit that she used to go around the entire county she lived in and give out gifts. You would have never known that it was a petite woman in that suit. It made my entire childhood. I have tears watching this. One day, I hope to be able to do this for others, just like my aunt. I'm so happy to see Secret Santa give back to this family. They are all gems. ❤️🎄

I woke up at midnight in los angeles to watch this! Awesome start for the new day! There are many people struggling to survive this year! Check up on elderly neighbors! Give out a small bag of bananas, apples, and oranges to homeless! Add a toothbrush, deodorant, shaver, and ladies supplies! Throw in a $5.00 bill! I always use 2 for 1 coupons from fast food places. I give away the extra food and always give away my fries! There is always someone within a block or two that needs your help! With all the crazy problems this world has, just a smile and assisting someone by opening a door can make someone's day! Obviously use caution, but don't make excuses. Remember, one day you may even need help, wouldn't it feel great to have someone help you out! Happy Holidays, and may God bless you!

Your videos make me smile and cry from joy. I understand what a lot of these people go through. We are struggling and having to decide between meds and groceries. I have been without one of my meds for months. I have severe rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia and am in constant pain daily. My husband drives 100 miles round trip daily to work. So seeing these secret Santa recipients and the joy on their faces makes me happy
