Glad I found this. I did a Megatower review on my channel when it first came out. I've reviewed the new hightower and new tallboy and the MegaT is the one that keeps sticking in my head. While the others are lighter they just didn't make that impression upon me as the MegaT. The only other bikes I've reviewed that stuck in my head like this was the Ripmo and Revel Rascal, but those are not as capable as the MT. Looking forward to you new review of the this bike as opposed to the bike you demoed. I'm sure the coil vs air makes big difference. I'm still on the hunt for my next bike and can't get the MegaT out of my mind. I may have missed it, but the carbon wheels, are you doing the SC reserves?

@@loamtroopers I've ran a 36 RC2, fit4, grip1, lyrik, pike, MRP Ribbon Coil and the Push/Vor lyrik is hands down my favorite. I haven't tried the grip2 though. If you sell your fork let me know I may buy it to put on my Evil

@@chawkins45ify I'll definitely let you know. I think the Push is the way to go, though. Sounds like it crowns everything else. Especially for the price.

Hey bud have you had any problems with the little grub screw where the rear axle goes through mine keeps coming lose after every ride.which makes the rear have side to side play like the hub is lose, I’ve tried blue loctite which is medium strength( might have to put a little more) Cheers

Hey Marc. I actually have not, but I have had that issue on previous bikes. I ended up having to replace the axle system to fix the problem.

Do you think the MT is as “fun” as the Bronson? I’m looking at both, but leaning towards the Bronson for the “fun”. If I remember correctly, we ride similar stuff. Pedal up, ride down, but a few bike park days a year.

I think it really depends on your riding style and how your like your suspension set up. If you think you want to run a coil and want something a little faster, I’d say go MT. You’ll feel a bit more confident at the bike park with the Megatower for sure. The big drops and fast/chunky sections are more composed with the MT also. If you want something that will feel better jibbing, and a bit more nimble wheel base, go Bronson. Especially if you daily trails aren’t very steep. They are both very fun bikes though. Very snappy and easy to get off the ground.

I know. I tested the Megatower CC XTR. Its a hell of bike which should be ridden really fast. On my testride in very bad conditions i broke 10 Strava PRs on a bike which i dont knew and with a wrong frame size. I bought the Megatower S Kit. Maybe I‘ll buy a Lyrik Ultimate (the testbike had one, i like the feeling) but first i want to test the Fox 36.
