Did the walk down the steps to Amoudi Bay one morning while the kids were more interested in sleeping in. Too bad for them because Amoudi Bay is stunningly beautiful. Too lazy to walk back up, so on the donkey I went. What fun! 😁

do you have any hotel list for amoudi bay? what about Amoudi villas hotel. and one more what about "home in oia" hotel. can you give me a review of this 2 hotels. I am planning to stay 1 night in each to stay close at oia and sea as well in a budget.

Your videos are great! Are there a lot of casual restaurants in santorini. As a solo traveller I feel more comfortable in a casual restaurant rather than a posh romantic restaurant.

Hey Ben. If you're looking for casual restaurants, Oia is NOT the place you wanna go ! There's only 1 in Oia : Karma. Apart from that, my restaurant recommendations would be "Metaxi Mas" and "The Good Heart".

@@GreeceExplained Thank you! I have 6 full days to explore so I want to hike to Oia in one of them, I'll have another day for Pyrgos, another day for Akrotiri, another day for a cruise, another day for Fira. So I've got a couple other days to figure things out for. Awww I can't wait

Dear Sebastian, i am so happy about this video. I am staying in Amoudi Bay for 2 nights in October and I wanted to ask you how do i come back down there in the night? I've heard horror stories about those steps (security wise) so i would avoid them at night. But how likely it is to find a cab to take me down in the evening? Also,i don't have instagram,any chance your tours are on Facebook? Thank you!!❤

Hi ! Definitely dont do the stairs at night. Taxis wont be easy to find either. So I would ask your hotel / airbnb to arrange the transfer for you, that's what everyone does. I'm not on FB, but you can email me at sebitheguide@gmail.com

Obsessed with the movie Summer Lovers…. 😄 do you know exactly where it was filmed or the hotel? do you know where we can go dancing on grapes to make wine… like they did in the movie ? Summer lovers was mainly recorded in Oia village and Perissa beach. Unfortunately you cannot dance on grapes anywhere. You can renew your vows in a church on the island, either a Catholic one or an Orthodox one, but I dont know the procedure for this. Wish you a great time !!

I dont know if it's permanently, but it is true that it still hasnt opened for the season so far ... which might mean that they've ceased activity indeed :-(

Dimitris Amoudi Taverna. But you can find the same quality of fish for half the price at "Fratzeskos" in Perissa and "To Steki tou Psara" in Vlychada ;-)
