Irish star Saoirse Ronan talked to Ellen about her film debut as a half-clown/half-child character, and her Golden Globe-winning performance in "Lady Bird."
Andy Moore 🙄 yeah calm down, I don’t recall saying they meant nothing. I’ve been a huge fan of hers for many years and whenever I mentioned her to anyone, no one would know who I was talking about. I only meant she’s finally a household name and a huge commodity to secure on a talk show.
She’s so sweet. I just recently watched her film lady bird and I didn’t truly appreciate the extent of her amazing performance until watching this interview. It’s amazing how different she is from the character and how well she portrayed her. This young woman has so much talent to share with the world.
I admire her since I first saw her on The Lovely Bones. From then, I searched and watched most of her films. She's such a great actress. I'm so glad she's being recognized more now💗
Speaking of underrated actor/actress, is it weird that she reminds me of Freddie Highmore? She just like female version of Freddie Highmore. Since they are in the same generetion, it's nice to see young movie star that have real talent, brain, unique, and different from many young star who more like updating their media social status every minute (or make a scandal) than make a quality movie.
Denel Dumont I've followed her works for quite some time and I feel she isn't getting quality projects to fully grow into a well- known and appreciated actress. I hope this award season and her 2018 movie ( Mary Queen Of Scots) help her to get good films with experienced and well known directors.
the first movie i ever saw her in was Hanna, a movie that changed my life because i had never seen such cinematography....she's really just amazing and has such and ethereal energy around her.
I came to youtube to search for a new ear-catchy song, but I stumbled on Mary Queen of Scots trailer and now I still can't explain why I'm trapped on Saoirse Ronan's interview videos marathon for days God, I even dreamed about her last night! Saoirse, you've just gotten a new big fan here!
Aww sweet Saoirse! I like how she's fine with a bit of teasing on her accent but after a bit she's like: 'Okay, let's not fully go there and just have a nice and fun conversation aside from me being Irish' Plus she's so talented and funny and charming.
