Saphir Renovateur is one of the most well known leather care products available. It's more costly than many of its competitors, but does that mean it's worth it?
I try Saphir Renovateur on Horween Chromexcel, Red Wing Iron Rangers, vegetable tanned leather, and black calfskin leather to see how it performs across a variety of different materials.

If you're interested in a leather care product that doesn't produce as much shine, check out Venetian Leather Balm → amzn.to/3B4Fc3i
It's cheaper and I prefer Venetian over Saphir for preserving the matte appearance of my vegetable tanned boots and Red Wing Heritage boots. Still, I'm glad I have both because the Horween Chromexcel and Black Calf leather really look beautiful when treated with Saphir.
