Sapphire mining around Chanthaburi (Thailand) 

Dear all, I'm happy to invite you to discover the most recent field video on my new RU-vid Channel:
This time, I'm going to take you to discover sapphire mining around Chanthaburi in Thailand: Since the early 2000, the areas around Khao Ploy Wen volcano and Ban Ka Cha village have become one of the world most active sapphire mining areas producing mainly black star and yellow sapphires. The video was done in March 2017 and for the first time in that area we had a drone to help us getting images of the mining. Thanks to my team for that expedition: My field cameramen: Didier Barriere and Anthony Methez from Nomad's Media and Nomads Drone and my team mates: Justin K Prim, Myriam Buduca, Alexey Spirit Yakhlakov and Kim Rix.
