Tyra has said in interviews that in some eliminations like with Tocarra she was outvoted. I think Tyra cried because she had faith in Sara but ended up in a position where she couldnt keep her on the show. I know we get stories from girls like Shandi and Alisha where Tyra is in the wrong- and I will never discredit their experiences- but I live for these touching stories where people are helped by Tyra.

I appreciate the she was balanced with her view of the YoAnna/Camille thing. The show made Camille out to be the big villain, but in reality as she said, it was two ambitious, strong personalities bucking heads and a nuanced situation

Sara is one of the few girls I actually met in person, just walking through the city many summers ago. She was gorgeous and very approachable. I also crossed paths with Nik in Harlem and Bianca at a show. They all came off how ANTM presented them, which was cool. I can’t imagine how often these girls get recognized.

Ahhhh Sara! She didn’t deserve to leave over Yoanna in the music video episode. She was so beautiful and took wonderful pictures. Her elimination was heart breaking, and I’m sure she was the first contestant Tyra hugged and said goodbye to. Glad to see she looks the same and still has the same personality!

Eric Nicholson was the judge from Jane magazine. After it went under he became the senior fashion editor at Marie Claire.

One of my favorite interviews! I love Sara and how open/transparent she is abt her experiences and feelings during and/or after ANTM. I also love how she gives us a different perspective on how caring Tyra was, fighting for her career, and actually bridging her to a sport modeling client. Thanks Oliver for this interview.

I know you filmed this a while ago, but thank you so much for getting in touch with such a fan favorite, along with the other top model alumni. I’m very ill right now and antm is my comfort. It transports me to a time that was both simpler but also had its trials and tribulations for me as I was a little younger than some of the contestants from the earlier cycles, and I was going through stuff. I watched the episodes kindly uploaded to RU-vid usually after the fact because I didn’t have a tv. I never had a large girl friend group, so I lived vicariously sometimes through watching these beautiful young women. I know a lot of the show was so outrageous, but ultimately it seemed fun. it helped me to conceive of friendships and other relationships, and the direction I want my life to take, what I had to overcome . You’re giving a tremendous gift to the fans who wonder where their “model friends” went. And it’s so cool to see us being family women now together, even if we followed completely different paths. We are people of around the same age who settled down, worked, had our babies. My baby is in T-kindergarten, but he drives me crazy too. Thanks for reuniting us. 💕

Honestly I can write (and Lowkey might) a whole blog post about your interviewing skills with these top model girls Oliver! I truly believe that only YOU could have done this Top Model interview series in such a fun but tasteful manner! I think it’s the combination of your amazing personality, your own experience and understanding of reality tv on top of you being a top model fan who was as obsessed with this show as the rest of us growing up! Sara is one of the most beautiful models to ever be on ANTM. I remember having Cycle 2 on VHS, and her elimination never fails to make me cry. The feels. I honestly did not think she should have went home but from hindsight, we all knew that Covergirl chose Yoanna half way through the season.. #AndIOop

No matter race, religion, background, who you love; we all deserve basic human rights. That's where I draw the line. I will never believe differently. Period. I just wanna hang out with her. This was a great interview! And Sara seems genuinely lovely. But it does seem frustrating when people who clearly Republican views won’t simply admit it. Her comments on Jen’s picture were clearly pro-Trump voting conspiracy and she also kind of made fun of people for masking so it’s like, why not just own it and say ANYTHING about how you feel instead of going on this rant about how you’re an “independent thinker” and how everyone is so mean to each other? It comes across a bit like someone who doesn’t want to alienate people from their business. That said, I do think Sara has had some amazing experiences and had a lot of great things to say, so this was still an amazing interview and even though that part was a bit desperate and cringey to me Oliver handled it extremely well and was very fair to her.

Ooooh her man is hot. Sara like everyone else has gotten older but she's still a baddie. I love her bringing up how she was bullied and that drew Sports Illustrated which helped to propel her to being a model. Sometimes horrible situations are meant to be a blessing to you in the end. I know other Persians or people with similar upbringings were inspired by her being on ANTM.

You really did the Lord’s work baby bringing Sara on: I have kept up with her since I found her on Instagram. She’s one of those ladies that looks at all the comments, is still so humble and hustling. Tyra even have her a shoutout about her athletic line. So down-to-Earth and relatable. I love her response to what she’d say to Tyra: “tell me how to make 10 million dollars” because she clearly means it and she has a coachable attitude, which is so important. Sara is a special lady, love her 🤍
