The Phantom of the Opera musical debuted in London in 1986. It has run without cease ever since. It's had a nearly 40 year run! There is a 25th Anniversary special on DVD/Blu-Ray and streaming and the motion picture of this musical was released in 2004. Both behind are wonderful. This show is also the only musical theater show to ever get a sequel which continues the story to its conclusion. It's called "Love Never Dies" and has equally wonderful music and just a wonderful and emotional story. The two together are epic! If you liked this song, consider watching the show. I saw this show in London 4 times with 2 different Phantoms and each was incredible. Antonio Banderas was in another musical movie version of a show by the man who wrote this (Andrew Lloyd Webber) and that musical was Evita. He started with Madonna who played the role of Evita Peron. Another great show with great music.

On this concert performed singers and actors like Elaine Paige, placido domingo singing requiem mass with Sarah etc…
