Kyle didn’t blame it on anyone except himself tho if I remember correctly but that doesn’t excuse his behaviour in any shape or form. Imma say it, Kyle is a great father yet a lousy husband.
Kyle took responsibility for that. He's become a better person and is healing, he's legitimately a good man who's made mistakes, but there's no doubt he loves his babies, what lana did was unacceptable especially because of why she did it, it wasn't about how sarah was speaking to her it was deeper than that by the way if this was even her first time hitting sarah which the writers have said lana herself came from a physical abusive background. Remember in season one sarah eluded to the fact her mother was not the Saint everyone believed her to be which contributed to her to the suicide attempt. My guess is Kyle is going to seek custody of the kids and a lot of things are going to come out about lana we did not know I think lana has a lot of issues that for years she was able to hide behind Kyle's alcoholism because he was the problem thus her issues went unnoticed.

If I am being honest, I think Sarah was in the wrong. Lana in this series doesn't make everything about her. If anything, she's been trying to take care of her family and Smallville, while dealing with the divorce and the whole Clark Kent being Superman situation. Not to mention that Lana had to deal with the previous mayor being dead and Sarah being missing in action when she needed her out of danger. I would argue that Sarah is being more selfish and inconsiderate. She was definitely out of line bringing up what Kyle did. Lana shouldn't have slapped Sarah, but Sarah was just asking for it.
Lana was wrong with how she approached the conversation with Sara but she had some right to be mad. The way sara responded was normal snarky teenager, however blaming Lana for the divorce was out of line and deserving of some punishment just not a slap
That bit where Sarah said it’s Lana’s fault that Kyle cheated on her, I said that exact same thing to my mom. And I have always regretted. Even if it was just in the heat of the moment. I hope Sarah apologizes to her mother.
IMO Sarah was in the right, up until that last statement regarding Kyle. It was nice to see Lana get called out, and see some of her crap from season 2 get thrown back at her.
Some of what she said was, right, not all of it. She took the mayor job for her self, not her kids. But at the same time, telling her that she’s making everything about herself when they’re talking about Lana‘s personal life doesn’t make any sense. And there is the fact that she was giving her mom way too much attitude in the first place. But that’s probably cause she’s angry about the divorce. But Lana was in the right for the most part, especially because you don’t talk to your mom that way.

No sympathy for Sarah. Her parents have pandered to her since the show began, even when she was acting like a spoiled brat she could always get away with it by cashing in on their worries about her suicide attempt. Which I genuinely believe was more a demand for attention. She can be downright awful to people and expects that they will submit to her. But if you do or say one thing to *her* then she will be as horrible as she was in blaming Lana for Kyle's affair. Also notice that she bounces back and forth to whichever parent will give her the most slack at a given time.
IKR Sarah to me is a drama queen some keep saying Lana was wrong but come all since the first season Sarah has been like this I was shocked when she told Lana she was being selfish of excuse me how is you're mother being selfish exactly. And she is awful yo people I hated how she treated Jordan when they were dating Jordan put way more effort into the relationship then she did just kept messing with his feelings for her saying she needs space let her think oh I can't talk about my family problems yet Jordan can't talk about his she breaks up with him WTF really. And she know Jordan doesn't want to be best friends with her you can tell he want's way more than that. To be honest, if you watch when Sarah was telling Kyle about the security installment and stuff, she didn't necessarily insinuate anything about Lana and John Henry. She told him exactly what any kid would tell their dad if they were having high tech security installed. Lana getting mad was stupid and Sarah was right all the way till the last part about Kyle cheating
Get ready, folks .... I see a custody battle looming, and to be fair, lana has had this coming ... Kyle is finally healthy on the verge of a potentially good relationship. His daughter is going to tell him about the hit and my guess is the lana high ground is about to come crashing down to earth .. there's a reason they are playing the "Trust theme" music in the background... and what did superman tell jordan about trust once you break it it's hard if ever to fix ... Keep in mind the writers have said this season Lana's past is going to come to haunt her my guess is this isn't the first time she's hit Sarah and that's why lana panicked after she did it .
The actor and actresses for the Cushings are talented, but they focus too much on them. I was saying Sara started out better this season with playing beer pong and goofing off with her friends, but did she have to open that up about her parents' affair?
I agree with all of you Sarah should not have said what she said but she was just lashing out and was feeling angry because of what her dad did and she felt like her mother wasn’t actually there for her i tend to lash out when I’m angry and I too need to work on not doing that 😊

I don’t think she was looking for a fight, especially when she ended things by saying, please be mindful what you say to him. That was her letting go. Sarah couldn’t let it go and I left all of her pent up anger at her mom and she got what she was asking for.

I'm on Sarah's side, Lana didn't even ask the husband (Forgot his name) about if they're still a thing and I'm a little bit not on her side either because she could've been more descriptive with Lana about what her dad actually talked about with his ex, I was all in on Lana being Mayor but as for a mother she's pretty crappy.
If you watch the conversation with Kyle and Sarah about the security, Sarah didn't say anything out of line. She told him some guy came and set up high tech security which any kid would tell their dad about. Lana always acts self entitled, I used to try and see 2 sides of things but watching this show I've had enough of Lana. The only thing Sarah did wrong was mention Kyle cheating.
