Just lost my grandmother back in November to cancer. Heard this song on the radio and started crying. Christmas was really different this year for me this year .

It’s October but I’m here for it. It’s been getting colder so we made our first fire today. I came home late tonight to find my mom in Christmas pajamas. Then this was recommended to me a moment later. I won’t be home for Christmas this year. This song portrayed our feelings exactly. Thank you.

this song spoke to me because my health has taken me on a journey I never would've chosen. The old me is dead and I can't find her again. I keep grieving her loss and then try and move on like nothing is wrong even though I long to shout that everything is wrong inside me. I have loving parents Praise the name of God! This song says, "I hear your sadness." I used to love Christmas now I don't like it anymore. It's because all the pain I've been through these last 2 years drained me of joy. I don't know how to find myself again. I'm walking like an empty shell. I want to give joy to others but I'm so tired. I'm so tired. I hope Jesus can understand that. Your song is just right for me. This hit home for me. Having lost my grandfather (1943-2023) at the beginning of the year and hearing this just tells you "I hope you were long prepared for this." We spent every Christmas at my grandparents' house every year for 15 years straight, and now it indeed will feel different this year.
