There's a new restaurant in Sarasota and oh boy is it great! Cooper's Hawk is located off of Fruitville road near I-75 in the new Fruitville Commons.
When you walk in the doors you are greeted by beautiful wine bar and shop. Their winery sources grapes from around the world and creates a wide range of selections to please both sophisticated palates and newcomers to the wine experience.
The décor in the dining room has a modern casual feel. It's comfortable and pleasant.
The food was really good. You may know I am a big fan of Fin's in Venice, but I have to say, Cooper's Hawk was just as excellent!
Their menu has 110 American-fusion dishes featuring flavors from around the world. Each item is paired with a suggested wine and labeled on the menu. Great if like me, you aren't a wine expert!
They also have an extensive Gluten free menu with more than 45 selections. That's more items than many restaurants have on their main menu.
