Simplifications must be used, because the book itself consisted mostly of verbal skirmishes, deliberations and speculations, and something like this in movie would bore most potential viewers. Besides, we never come into contact in the original Dune with a visit to Salusa Secundus. The regular sardaukars might look quite different from the sardaukars of spies and infiltrators.
