Maurizio Sarri discusses his future as Chelsea manager as well as his victory with the club in the UEFA Europa League final. Sarri's Chelsea beat Arsenal 4-1 in Baku, Azerbaijan.
No, people are stupid. Some city fans were Pep out, there were liverpool fans that were klopp out. I know it's a minority but it just shows how small minded and impatient fans can be
aviator2492 Depends on the club. Chelsea fans are incredibly entitled for a club that isn’t even that successful compared to the other top 6 teams. Sarri’s style of football was never going to work straight away - no one’s style does. With time and cooperation from players, managers will start to see their style employed more effectively and that is what happened in the final and in the end of the league season. Chelsea would be very unwise to let Sarri go however I wouldn’t blame him for upgrading to Juventus.
Yes I know Mauricio sarri he's drfo going to light up some herbs after all chelsea needs to start eye in some new replacement forwards since giroud won't cut it
the main issue was his stubborness, i know there was some people who wanted him out but a lot of chelsea fans just wanted him to adapt a bit. there were times we were getting smashed, playing awful and he would repeatedly play the same players the same formation which frustrated a lot of people. The last few months of the season he started to change and bring in different players finally. I hope he stays, he deserves a chance and with our transfer ban and hazard going we have to keep being patient as next season aint looking good regardless of who's in charge. Certainly don't want frank yet he's far too inexperienced. Hopefully keep sarri and let him build something but our board is ridiculous and wouldn't be surprised if he's sacked.
Adrian Guardiola took over a better team and had a worse first season. He didn’t get criticized. Sarri took over a far worse team and was way more successful and the media tear him apart all season
@@wypark7 Exactly. And people are making that argument that he still havent won anything, now he has... Klopp hasnt won a trophy since he came to liverpool 4 years ago, and yet he was given time to build a team that is on par with Mancity... But of course Klopp is better than Sarri because he gives hugs and "Shows Passion", smh these fans sometimes.
Sarri was mistreated by Chelsea...he had a great season and Chelsea played great football in the end. I expect him to win the scudetto this season and I hope more people can follow their passions like the chain smoking sarri did, and achieve great things...Forza sarri...ciao as the say in Italy...
Let's support sarri at Chelsea. It's time for the new revolution from defense team into attack team with good possession and ball control, I believe for better next season with so many talented youth man in your team just give them chances to show their skills and mature as footballers.
Adil Jakatoore Ahmed exactly, it’s a normal thing for Chelsea, every season we win a trophy, then there is teams that can never win anything anymore(Man U)😂
Reached 2 finals and won 1 and came 3rd in the premier league in his first season at a new club with a different system and managing a team that’s got some players in there with attitude problems the mans done amazing for 1 season and this is coming from an arsenal fan what more do Chelsea fans want just have some patience and respect
Sarri had a wonderful season: Finished 3rd Won europa league Thrashed arsenal Beat liverpool and man city (yes im counting that as an achievement) Got Hazard to have one of the seasons of his life (individually and statistically) Got to the carabao cup final and stopped city from scoring for 94 mins What a great manager, he has potential to become the best manager chelsea has ever hired, if he is given the time and support he needs. COYB🔵🔵
I think people forget that di Matteo won the champions league and was still sacked Mourinho won 3 premier leagues and was sacked 2 times Antonio conte won the premier league and fa cup and was still sacked I’m not holding out
Nope they didn't. Before the goal Arsenal were on top of Chelsea. After the goal Arsenal just collapsed under pressure. Unlike Chelsea they had to win this to qualify for UCL.
Bill Kat For the first 30 minutes, arsenal had the upper hand. The goal didn’t come till the 49th minute and Chelsea definitely were better in between and after.
Slimmy Jimmy correct. The first 30 minutes Arsenal was the better side. After that Chelsea control the game until the last 20 minutes of the second half
He didn’t actually say it was difficult because of Arsenal, he said it was more down to the heat and the amount of games played. Sadly we were that bad our “performance” was not mentioned
Chelsea fans must respect Sarri cos this season has been difficult for him and the club. • He’s made this side finish 3rd • Qualified for the Champions League • Reached the Carabao Cup final, and Chelsea deserved to win it, only to get knocked out on pens. • Reached the Europa League final • WON the Europa League final Sarri’s done a very good job this season👍
Love to hear that he called for the players to play with courage at HT. Kova seemed to have benefited the most from that call and played like the world-class talent he is capable of becoming in the 2nd half. Ripped Arsenal's midfielders to shreds with his ball-carrying and slick passing so well that commentators kept calling him Hazard.
Chelsea managers usually get sacked when they don't make top four, just look at conte getting sacked even after winning the fa cup but not making top four.
@@gabrieldenny7174 fair point...but UAEFA are going to gift it to City like they tried this time Examine Citys games in ALL 3 CUP COMPETITIONS and compare with Utd, Livpool Spurs Chelsea etc Not to mention Peps gonna call his oil daddy for another blank cheque in a few weeks Best of luck beating that my friend
Ill say it again since carlo we will not know how good we’ve got it until its gone. Sarri is a top class manager & is exactly what we chelsea need to have a philosophy & s style, few more seasons with his players he will get it bang on.
Chelsea got him to secure a champions league spot. He got to 2 cup finals, won one of them (possibly the most important out of the two) and secured 3rd place in the prem. He's handled it really well and has done more than what he was told. Top class.
Sarri is so humble and friendly I don't see why chelsea would get rid of him now specially when he turned the season around and manage to stop our derby enemies arsenal from getting that champios league football budget
I am a United fan. I must say, i like Sarry. He seems humble and still god character. Chelsea should keep him and let him work with the team. The way he have dealt with the problems have impressed me. I think fans i general should have more patience with managers. To build a team is not done in some few months. Needs a couple of transfer windows.
I had faith in Sarri from beginning of the season but after Europa League win now I've full trust in this guy. Just need patience and need to support to create a positive atmosphere in the club that's all Chelsea fans need to do. Sarri In
Maybe now people will finally stop ridiculing the guy. He walked in to a split dressing room, with poor English, unable to touch his beloved cigarettes in the grounds, had to put Barkley and Kovacic in the advanced midfield role, had to have Willian play most of the season; Ended with some great wins, a trophy, another final lost on penalties, CL football, much improved English, and humiliated his city rivals AND even wore a suit. For Chelsea as they currently are, this season was far better than it realistically should have been.
Only Chelsea would consider sacking a manager after overachieving in the Prem and winning a European cup. I remember when they sacked Di Matteo after he won the Champions league, while I (as a Villa fan) have had to put up with Paul Lambert and Alex McCleash. Sarri is top 5 managers in the world.
Even if chelsea didn’t win the Europa League I want sarri to stay. How was this a bad season? Liverpool and Manchester city were just on another level this season. Proud to get the 3rd place.
So happy for him, well deserved end of season trophy! I really didn't understand the amount of stick Chelsea fans gave him during the season, he did an excellent considering the circumstances (team in transition, an owner going through a rough time and volatile personalities). To win in that fashion, blowing away Arsenal over 15 mins period in the 2nd half, impressive! 👍
