This is probably the best TV ad in Philippine history.

Kalungkot lang tuwing dumadaan ako sa planta ng cosmos bottling corporation dito sa McArthur highway na mapapangiti ka lang sa alaala. Na dala ng kumpanya yan sa batang 90s pop cola, Sarsi,Jaz cola ang totoong Pilipino made products.

Maganda ang mensahe ng patalastas na ito. Conformity sucks.

I think the Sarsi jingle was sung by the UP Concert Chorus. Definitely, the jingle was composed by no less than Maestro Ryan Cayabyab.

This is not just a commercial. It's so meaningful showing the value of variety.

the concept of the commercial was really ahead of it's time. pretty genius i must say for a 90s Philippines. siguro if sarsi recreates this magic for a modern Philippines they would be able to put the soda back in the map. I mean if Jollibee can borrow ideas from McDonalds why not diba ?

This the time were simply blant and not shiny era but nostalgic of feeling weird safe as a kid like seeing old pizza hut seeing old RetroCrush Tarpaulin old voice of commercials. And the ambiance im kinda miss that part🥺 and a water of the floor because of flooding and you are in wooden bed and cannot go cuz of water in floor and watching tv morning til night and friend of your dad visit your home and watch movies and drinks and sleep in coach and your father grab you in wooden bed with mosquito net and Banig😔

This was shown in 1989 not 1991. Conceptualized for Sarsi by Minyong Ordonez and Nonoy Gallardo, the husband of Celeste Legaspi. This two man are just amazing. They also created the Duty Free Philippines commercial back in 90's.
