Sarulf, Realm Eater | Brewing with $50 | Commander Deck Tech | EDH | Magic: The Gathering 

I built this deck also as a kind of spellslinger style and it's been great. He has a funny effect on the game state because everyone suddenly starts drawing and passing instead of playing out their hands. His exiling ability means he absolutely hosed a Sidisi deck. In one turn cycle, table talk was " How do we stop Sarulf from doing his thing?" Then, a player used Field of the Dead to make a ton of zombies and table talk was "We have to protect Sarulf at all costs!" Which was hilarious. One final story: Sarulf gets swol. At one point, he had 15 counters on him and someone cast a kill spell, so to get some value I cast Ram Through targeting his weenie. Then another player cast Tainted Strike on Sarulf, instant KO.

I went for creature sac effects with recursion and recycling spells. Kind of a spell slinger and creature recursion deck. This way you don't have your creatures exiled and you get to use the great green and black recycling spells to reuse and reestablish quickly. Throw in a few utility effects to exile opponents graveyards, and you pretty much have all your bases covered while hosing opponents.

Are there any boardwalks "other than garuke wake" that wouldn't kill your commander?

I always enjoy yr builds n deck techs but could lower the background music 🎶 a little. Tough to focus on yr words. Keep building 😃

So built a serulf deck and I found that mill works even better than the destroy creature cards, (when a permanent enters an opponents graveyard) so cards like SYR, KONRAD and GRINDLOCK
