Tbh if your first ever victory is against a god, then it pretty much cancels out all of your loses

The thing that's very interesting about Sasaki is that he wasn't brought back in his younger body in this Golden Age body where he's gotta be over sixty years old. He never stopped training. Even when he died.

Sasaki kojiro is the example of no matter how many times you fail.... You only get more stronger next time! so much that failure will feel ashamed of being around you!

Even in death he lost multiple times but gets resurrected and get his 1st victory against a god.

Poseidon's fatal mistake was bringing a trident when he should've brought an oar.

As good as the first two fights were (especially Adam vs Zeus), This fight made me hooked to the series. The first ever human side win, especially against potent god Poseidon. because after the first to loss, I thought this series just gonna slaughter historical figures while giving them some hope to best the gods. also the way Poseidon lost as arrogant and unforgiving god just waaaaaay too satisfying.

I don't think poseidon was really trying cuz he looks down on humans calling them weak so he probably thought it was gonna be an easy win. Dude could literally just drown his opponents.

Of course the first win in a Japanese series would go to the Japanese champion. It's perfect. Adam and Lu Bu failed because they tried fighting the gods on their terms, and because they were the best. Kojiro was always an underdog and got better through adversity. Man fought Poseidon with the culmination of centuries of Japanese swordfighting techniques.

The humans should call kratos at this point

I like the mention of Medusa in one of his attac names, cool reference to a really sad story, I'm sure some people don't know how he's connected to Mdusa.

He's like the swordsman version of Doomsday. When Doomsday dies, he gets back to life and is already resistant to what has defeated him.

They nerfed him to the point it would be best to call this one God of Tridents...

During Adams story they referenced God with the capital G as the one who created humans. They never really explored how the gods with lower case g fit into creation. Were they also created by God with a capital G? If the lower case g gods exist, does that mean the capital G God also exists in this show? Is He far more powerful than Zeus? Does the gods with lower case g know him and have seen him? I’d definitely be interested to know how God with capital G ties into the universe of this show.
