I don’t know if y’all remember from the Kaguya arc, but she mentioned Momoshiki and Kinshiki. She mentioned them, not by name, but by saying, “when the others arrive”, when she was trying to justify turning the villagers into the White Zetsu army when Hagoromo and Hamura were confronting her about the God Tree and the mysterious disappearance of the villagers from the Land of Ancestors. I don’t remember the exact episode number, but it was before Hagoromo awakened his Sharingan after seeing Haori dead when he and Hamura found the dead villagers.

Pat is right. Sasuke did want to get stronger but he wanted to do it the natural way and train hard and fight tough oppponents to hone his skills. Orochimaru gave him the curse and basically showed him how easier it is the get power quickly. Then Itachi came and showed Sasuke how weak he was and Orochi's ppl came and beat Sasuke's ass even with him using the curse mark. So there were a lot of catalysts that caused Sasuke to leave the village and it was not Sasuke fault those things happened. Boruto's motives are very trivial compared to Sasuke.

I am totally on Boruto's side when it comes to Naruto being absent as much as he has been and especially in this episode. But I am commenting on what Pat was trying to say. Pat was right, the Curse mark was stated to have an influence over Sasuke. It was like a drug or steroid that the more Sasuke used, it made Sasuke want to seek him out. It was the influence of Orochimaru’s chakra in him, plus his own desires to get stronger, the CurseMark was like the demon in his head amping his insecurities.

Fun fact the whole relationship with boruto and sasuke, the creator stated he wanted a similar relationship as piccolo and gohan in an interview which is pretty dope..

I don't think he couldn't. He just didn't think of it until then. There wasn't anyone for him to test it out on between Kakuzu and Pain and his training was dedicated to sage mode rather than Rasen Shuriken.

Because there's virtually nothing for Naruto to teach him. Most of the stuff in Naruto's arsenal is something only he can use.

@RandomGuyOnTheInternet46 in all fairness, I'm really thinking Naruto taught him the shadow clone jutsu at some point. Because that jutsu is still a forbidden jutsu. The only people who use it are Konoha Jonin and Naruto himself. And since he didn't learn it from Konohamaru, Naruto is the only other person he really knows that can teach him. And considering the risks of using that jutsu, I think it's something Naruto would have to oversee himself to ensure his safety since even making a handful of clones can divide your chakra to near zero if not trained properly.

@@thrillking7228 the shadow clone jutsu isn’t forbidden it’s a basic jutsu every ninja needs to know to graduate u see in the beginning naruto couldn’t do it and failed, the multi shadow clone jutsu he learns from the scroll is forbidden as it requires a stupid amount of chakra and can easily kill u if you use it too much

@@gabesanders3621 academy students are taught the clone jutsu, not the shadow clone jutsu. There's a difference. Clone jutsu doesn't divide the chakra and produces a clone that cannot physically fight and has no substance. The shadow clone jutsu divides the chakra into equal parts among the user and the clone (1 clone takes half the total chakra the user possess, 4 clones leaves Naruto with only 20% total chakra left). The only way to overcome the issue is to have an abnormally large amount of chakra like Naruto or create less clones and having more chakra control like Boruto and Sasuke.

Fun fact: Boruto managed to make a Rasengan, albeit "tiny", in like 3 days without clones. (In fact he managed to subconsciously add change in Chakra Nature, something the other genius ninjas never even managed to do.) It took Naruto close to month to make a normal Rasengan with a shadow clone lol.

took Naruto a week to do it and he 1st did it with 2 hands no shadow clone and pretty sure lightning style when applied to rasengan is just lightning blade pretty sure Kakashi said that's how he made da jutsu so Boruto's invisible rasengan while it is a dope concept is a contradiction.

@@EggMixValid it took Naruto several weeks to complete the base rasengan, with the help of shadow clones. Naruto did use his two hands against Tsunade but that was an incomplete Rasengan. He didnt complete his base rasengan until he used it on Kabuto. And he didnt complete his basic one-handed rasengan until the war arc. Boruto's rasengan was a change in chakra nature whereas when Kakashi tried he failed to maintain the rasengan so his new jutsu basically had change in chakra nature and change in chakra form, which turned into chidori.

Let's not sleep on Nagato when he was reanimated. I guess they forgot that Nagato was mainly in that chair AFTER he divided his powers into 6 bodies. When Nagato was reanimated, he was able to use all 6 powers by himself. So it really doesn't matter which Pain you are talking about because it is just one person (Nagato).

Pat is right. The curse mark corrupts it users. Look at the entirety of the sound five + Sasuke. They are baby versions of Jugos ability (constantly taking nature energy), which turns him into a blood lusted psycho. The curse mark has similar but smaller effects of corruption and power boost

boruto has 100% every right to be pissed off. We as the viewers know what Naruto’s been through and his current responsibilities, but boruto doesn’t. yea he said some things in the heat of the moment that were uncalled for, like Naruto growing up with no parents, etc, I won’t defend him for that. Naruto should known better than to send a clone though. By trying to protect *everyone* in the leaf, he’s neglecting his family and failing his kids, which’ll only breed resentment for him in the future.

i mean you can let it slide as long as he controls it. if he waS just chillin and not fightin he could keep a shadow clone anywhere for like a week. and a shadow clone is quite litteraly a CLONE, the only difference is less endurance depending on how strong the guy is. like it has a seperate conssouicness and everything

Imagine having to re-live the death of your loved ones over and over. That's like the worst torture. Anyone that's lost someone before, even a beloved pet, understands how unbearable that would be. No one really comes back fully from that degree of trauma irl. Boruto's daddy issues really can't compare to what Sasuke went through, I think it's pretty short-sighted of them to simply dismiss the rationale and say it's all the same. It's really not...one wasn't trying to obtain power just for attention.
