After getting hospitalized he could for extended time and his only issue was actual chakra reserve. Shippuden hit, and he was testing the mangekyou. Got dropped afterwards... recovered and he could use it much more. That has kinda been kakashis thing. His body was compared to the uchiha, in terms of build and stamina which is why they can use sharingan. It just takes him longer because he isnt a clan member

I believe the 5 Tails is supposed to be a Kirin (a horse-dragon hybrid in East Asian folklore) but I’ve never been sure. All the other beasts are so clear in their designs so idk why the 5 Tails always gave me trouble. Also yes, while the 4 Tails being named Son Goku is a reference to DBZ, they named him that because both Goku and the 4 Tails are based off Sun Wukong

Son Goku is inspired by the mythological character Son Wukong who is famously known from the Chinese 16th-Century book called Journey To The West. To summarise the whole myth about him, he is known as the monkey king who had a magical staff that could extend and shrink. Not gonna lie, the Sasuke dad theory is pretty good. He was an Uchiha, it was said maybe he was able to control the nine tails. Since he's in a high ranking position in the leaf, it would be ideal to wear a mask when fighting. It was shown in the Konan fight that Tobi had two eyes, so he never just had one eye, so its a possibility. Also how Tobi knows so much about Itachi, and the leaf (being able to sneak in.) Plus how, Sasuke and Naruto are destined to fight each other, as did Minato (naruto's dad) and Tobi (Maybe Sasuke's Dad) fought. The only problem with this theory is we've seen Fugaku get killed by Itachi, unless it was a clone that Itachi killed. It would make sense because he wants to see Sasuke's progress.
