Everyone please press the like button we need this information out far and wide, not only on cults but also having critical thinking or we are going to loose our language, and right to free thinking. Thanks andrew good vibes to the universe 🙏 for you at this stressful (understatement) time.
And they got away with it more pre Internet when not everyone knows all their b.s zenue stuff.whats really puzzling is how they STILL do it.when it doesn't take spending 250gs to figure out now they fullnof shit.
Wow.. great segment. I'm fascinated by this cult. I can't bring myself to ever refer to it as a church. Lafayette Ronald Hubbard.. I'd never heard his first name... no wonder they went with LRH. He developed a competitive cult. It's so hard to get out, I hope those who are stuck and need help find The Aftermath and get away. I'm subscribing to Jon, great work. Knowledge is power and truth matters. Thank you 🙏
I'm starting to wonder if we have scientologists in the highest part of our government, as well as different segments of our government. Somebody in power is helping Scientology existand keeping it from being shut down! The nationalists remind me alot of Scientology.
I am wearing my hail xenu hoodie and a string of ghost lights around my neck, representing my body thetans. I think I might wear this for Halloween 😂😂😂❤
@@ninjawizard3865 lots I imagine, but there's only around a hundred of them in Ireland so the chance of meeting one would be most unlikely. They're an endangered species. We'll have to put a few in the zoo for posterity 😂😂😂❤️
@@ugoakusoba4094 not sure about that, jehovah has infinitely more death and destruction on his bloody hands than scientology's paltry numbers. All organised religion is a scam to abuse and rip off the little people and keep them under control.
I still don’t understand how anyone could get caught into this. Celebrities with their noses in the air completely baffle me because now I know how absolutely dumb they really are
And just think how intelligent Tom Cruise considers himself, his definitely got little man's syndrome & Miscavige has as well. NUTTERS, but dangerous nutters.🤯🤯🤯🤯
It starts as therapy, self improvement. Mastering your emotions. Getting your shit together. You're brought along little by little. One level at a time. They don't get told about Xenu and all that space shit until they've been in for years and years. And it was a tightly held secret. (The internet ruined all that for them!) It works like Mormonism or Masonry or the ancient mystery religions. Incrementally. Advancing from level to level slowly. With the carrot of "secret knowledge" dangled before you.
I wouldn't need to do that,@@FRDOMFGTHR , because the xenu story is allegorical of what is found in the cosmology of many world religions, and in fact it was presented that way, and if you paid attention to what I'm saying in this thread I exited that Faith in goodwill and have moved on to activism, often defending those who are not present to or are too kind-hearted to defend themselves, you fukinNormie ignorant sprig
Jon is just great! I love his voice. He speaks concisely and clearly. He talks in a way you can understand! And, boy, does he know his stuff! He read a book or books for this interview alone!
This gentleman explains why my son's father behaved the way he did. Closes a lot of doors on the pain my son and I experienced. I have learned to forgive him for his involvement with this cult.
Sergeant Peppers Lonely Heart Band by the Beatles, look up the cover. The bald guy at the top, second person on the top left, is Aleister Crowley. His symbolism has been used by the Beatles. (and other bands...) He also influenced LRon Hubbard. If you are a narcissist, his methods will turn you into something much worse. One example already given by the guest speaker is Charles Manson. Another example is Jimmy Savile.
Andrew I really loved this interview!! It was incredibly informative, and I found it to be fascinating lol - the way he was able to simplify/condense/present in layman’s terms the last 50 years of research he’s done into Scientology, Hubbard, Hubbard’s manuscripts (and all the comparative studies he’s done with those writings), and even his interviews with former Scientologists!! I believe you have a gift for interviewing people, and it takes more than simply being able to ask the right questions… You are an effective communicator - a good listener - and I really enjoy watching your channel. Thank you!
It's good! BTW, what does "deadset" mean in the context you used it? I've only heard it being used, as in, "I'm dead-set against it," or dead-set against something 🫠
@@Julia-uh4li Its Australian slang lol, so you got it right in your last paragraph, so basically it just means like “seriously” or “honestly” or “no word of a lie”. So for example “I honestly just realised 8 minutes…..”
Would love to hear more about New Age religious cults etc , seems like anyone can be a cult leader with social media and some predatory skills Everyone wants to be a “Healer” aka special Just fascinating! Thanks for your investigative journalism!
Hello Jon and Andrew, I absolutely loved this episode. Jon you are the only ex-Scientologist a level 25. Who knows now, it’s is all the most ridiculous BS! You are the only X-SCI, that I have understood. Meaning you do not act, like you are an X-SCI. Because of all the interviews, I have tried to listen to with Andrew and others. That gave me an explanation of, true Scientology 😮 without feeling that you are being lied to. Or that had the whole story, you broke this down perfectly. With facts and a lot of experience. Thank you!
Remember when I was a kid in the 70s and you know we didn’t have cable they used to advertise L Ron Hubbard’s book Dianetics all the Time on TV. My parents just said it was junk. It sounds like Elron Hubbard was on a constant acid trip really.
You’re absolutely right there , when a child falls over at a young age , does your mum or dad say , there there you’ll be alright , And the mother says nothing of the father says nothing. This behaviour or example , of no empathy toward a child creates problems in the child’s head which creates problems for the new adult that the child does become. Terrible problems.
SHARE THE SHIT OUT OF THIS 🙏🇬🇧🇺🇸 join the dots.THANKYOU Andrew and Jon because it sounds crazy but seriously look around you 🙏 this is present still and we do walk amongst monsters 👿
Scientology is sort of like Mormonism. Mormonism teaches that you, too, can become a god, if you do all the right things and learn all the right secret words and handshakes.
I could honestly accept the Xenu, volcano, reincarnation, "crazy" ideas more than I can understand how they treat people in their "church" now. Afterall, it's not really crazier than things we find in our mainstream religious stories. I just can't wrap my head around abusing people, and destroying families.
1:00:39 Very interesting to hear that Manson was involved with Scientology. Especially considering that he was seemingly using hypnotic techniques on his cult members. I would LOVE to read Jon’s book once it comes out! I’ve read Tom O’Neil’s book ‘Chaos’ about Manson’s involvement with Jolly West, the CIA & MKUltra etc. and I’d love to learn more about the Scientology aspect. It seems as though a lot of these players are very much intertwined with one another. 1:01:49 The 1946 Babalon Working ritual that L Ron Hubbard participated in with Jack Parsons (rocket scientist) has always intrigued me. Jack Parsons was also a member of the Ordo Templi Orientis (Crowley’s cult.) Clearly both Parsons and Hubbard were fans of Aleister Crowley. Ekk 😣 *Side-note: Does anyone know if Scientology has any additional connections with OTO other than Hubbard’s work being heavily inspired by Crowley? Do these cults have any crossover?* I remember reading a story about 15 years ago written by a guy who had a one night stand with Peaches Geldof (daughter of singer Bob Geldof) and unfortunately for her he had some x-rated photos to prove it. They shot up heroin together, slept together, hung out etc. At around 8am she asks him to drive her somewhere, he did but barely remembers doing so. At 1pm he awakes in a sauna, throwing up everywhere and starts freaking out. He looks around and sees her outside of the sauna on an exercise machine, he’s extremely confused. He then reads some pamphlets and realizes he’s in Scientology’s Celebrity Center in LA doing the purification rundown aka ‘Purif.’ _(Yikes! The purification rundown sounds like absolute torture on its own, doing it all whilst going through opiate withdrawal would be pure hell!)_ *TLDR: Guy does heroin with & sleeps with Peaches Geldof (socialite), wakes up in a Scientology purification center.* *I bring this story up as I find it interesting that Peaches was openly involved in Scientology for awhile, but not long after she then joins Ordo Templi Orientis and even she gets the letters “O.T.O.” inside a heart tattooed on her arm. Many of her Instagram photos are of stacks of Crowley’s books etc.* *I’m curious to know if OTO (or any other occult “secret societies”) crosses over with Scientologists? If anyone knows or has any theories please leave a reply* 😊❤️
All roads lead to Rome (Vatican) all famous cults operate the same way.look them up and remember the names. This is prevalent today and still operates. I believe Freemasonry is the biggest worldwide cult.Research The club of Rome,The knights Templer, skull of bones.Luciferians,Cabala, all connected to the light barer SATAN.Very powerful people are involved and their symbolism is everywhere!!
One of the best guests you could have. His book is brilliant. For a hot minute, Amazon stopped selling the book. B&N continued to sell them. I bought ten because I was so scared it would be gone! This man is brilliant!
Nobody IN Scientology can know more about it than than someone like Jon. An ex-Scientologist who’s learned nearly everything about it from the inside, only to eventually realize the truth and dedicate their lives to learning everything those still on the inside are banned from even knowing exists.
Hi I’m sorry to tell you, that I have to leave your channel. It’s not because I don’t like you anymore, it’s just because RU-vid have decided that the Premium Lite membership that I have enjoyed to much, is no longer available. Now it’s only possible to get the standard Premium membership, which means a price increase of 73%. Sure, they throw a bunch of other stuff into the membership, but I don’t care about that. If I did, I would have chosen that membership from the beginning. This change from RU-vid means that you will lose subscribers = income. Unless RU-vid has increased payment to you now that they are charging paying members more money, then this should be a problem for you. It has been a pleasure following you.
Discussions like this are great because of the potential of the human imagination, especially under the influence of some stressor of some kind, like an ancient herb for example. I often find myself wondering about the greed that started off many of the most successful civilizations. War is a form of greed that causes great shifts in society. I wish it weren't necessary, but often, it seems to be. Why can't we just learn from our mistakes? What is stopping us from reaching our full potential? Is greed the problem? Why can't we abolish it? Scientology is an expression of greed.
Apologies in advance. This came on my feed and... I'm not going to watch it. Not because I have any love for Tom, Scientology, or any religion; indeed all religions can be disarticulated and mocked do to their blatant absurdities. I simply and genuinely feel that "we"are overindulging ("we" as both creators and consumers of content) in schadenfreude and ridicule for our own good. On a different day and I might join in the fun. But right now I'm feeling like we should take stock of our motivations. And become better people. I'm probably wrong. Outrage = clicks, clicks=$$$. Best of luck t o all of us, and blessings upon those of us that do better than good-ish.
It’s odd how the mind might be the most fought-over terrain. Unrelated, I feel cheated that Andrew mentioned Jordan Peterson and didn’t do his impression … Bucko!
I have been consistently learning how to decode the coded language of socialism. I recognize how random that sounds. What does this have to do with Scientology? Well it’s something that has allowed me to see through the lens of a very different set of values that aren’t my own. There’s a lot I’m hearing here about Scientology that’s wildly similar to what I’ve learned about socialism. That’s not saying Scientology and socialism is the same thing. Just there’s an Overlap in a new mbet of ideas and beliefs in both. .
It is almost 2024 and we now know the earth is not a giant spinning spherical water world space ball spinning faster than a BULLET at the EQUATOR SPEEDING through an INFINITE and EXPANDING VACUUM UNIVERSE BILLIONS of LIGHTYEARS ACROSS!!
if you want to know more about the 'great work' , the 'coming one' and all the occult new age influences on todays world - spoken of by aliice bailey, albert pike, manly p hall, alestier crowley etc _ MAGICAL MYSTERY CHURCH
Hey Jon - it is a bit limiting to think that reincarnation is only in the frameworks of Hinduism, Buddhism, and L Ron DB. I can understand wanting to reject anything this A hole talked about, but even a clock can be right twice a day. There is much beauty to the concept of reincarnation and some evidence. Just noting proper rejection of a fool does not mean automatically rejecting anything the fool says.
This guy is full of shit about David Bowie. Bowie's brother had schizophrenia that worsened over time and David watched him slip away while wondering if it would happen to him as well. Part of his changing personas throughout his career was his way of taking control of the possible situation. Also, his father took care of mentally ill people his whole career... pretty sure that's a good guy.
You are a brilliant reporter. But your fascination with Scientology has run the gaunlet. I’ll watch all your videos and you are obviously a lovely man. Can you pretty please not do Scientology anymore xxx
I'm not on the same page as you on that. For me, I'd much rather see this important information being covered than to see Andrew talking about Megan Markle, again.
