Welcome! If you want to keep your Satin Pothos full & gorgeous, you've come to the right place. Satin Pothos, also known as Scindapsus pictus or Silver Satin Pothos, is a sweet houseplant with heart-shaped leaves in shades of silver & green.
Pruning once or twice a year maintains its size & health, promotes new growth, & keeps it looking good.
I'm pruning mine to control the length (it sits on a table & was hitting the floor) & to encourage some fullness on the top. I gave all the Satin Pothos cuttings away but had a few already rooted that I will plant in with the mother plant.

I just moved to a new place and brought my really long trailing satin pothos with me, and of course this just popped up in my feed! Perfect timing! Glad to see you can be pretty aggressive with the pruning, will also consider propagating in order to fill out the pot more. I how to take care video is definitely well welcomed! Im hoping to keep this guy happy! Thanks for the vid ✨️

What a beautiful plant…I’m a newbie and recently joined when I had to find how to care for the Guzmania Bromelaid which is such a beautiful plant that I know nothing about your video was so informative even though it was 5yrs old. It came in a porcelain pottery and I was wondering can I keep in there since you mention that it will need a hole at the bottom so the water can drain…sorry to get off the topic of the beautiful pothos but since this video was so new I figure you will see my question…Thanks in advance if you’re able to help and my apology my comment so long
