@@Micke_K Just stick with dumb metal, which is pretty much everything. As Judas Priest say, "Metalheads are not the brightest, hahahaha... They don't come from college, they belong on The Parking Lot. They are animals and we love them for their loyalty."
Frost played for years with spome serious shoulder pain inginitis, -made him play with more hate he said, we're talking levels of commitment unheard of, well we can hear it, he is one of a few that drums slow and easy beats with attitude and feel. So many blastdrummers are really boring when they go slow and easy. -Unfairly Tight, -I'm gonna steal that for my new SpeedRhumbaHardcore bandname, thanks.
I don't know, I feel Satyr's voice sounds thin and raspy, old and tired. I feel it's a technique thaught by vocal coaches to spare the voice during extensive touring. Shagrath has the same thing going on. If you compare Satyr's voice with the Nemesis Divina days, there is not much left...
Yeah I thought the same. Did not recognise him. Well, I guess, AGE. He's nearly 50. He's mellowed out quite a bit I imagine. It comes with getting old. Do you think all black metaller musicians will look the same when at 50 or 60 as they did when young? Most will grow, evolve, some even move away from it in their personal tastes.
Sigurd looking like a 70s rockstar. I'm not sure about that. The handlebars do nothing for me. Just wondering if the new album won't be black at all. His voice is sounding real good though the breaks done him good.
I did not recognize Satyr, watching movies from Poland 2024 were more "recognizable"'. Curly hair, jeans waistcoat are signs of the retirement of a great band. I will still love Satyricon as Metallica and Rolling Stones.
