I have the Pro 1/2/3 models and like all of them. Ran my last HM in the 3's, they're so damn nice it's kind of ridiculous. If the 4's are an improvement, they're for sure be worth the money.
I am looking forward to running in Saucony Endorphin Pro 4!!! I heard some saying thetoe-to-heel leangth is a but longer than true size. Would it be an issue for most runners?
I am in love with that shoe but that release color is awful 😂. But I seriously can't wait to have mine cuz I'm obsessed with my endorphin pro 3's which I had three pairs of
Hi - are they a bit more accommodating at the insole/heel area compared to the 3s? I felt like my heel was hanging over the inside edge of the shoe in the 3s so made me worry about the bottom outer edge of my heel/sole rubbing. x
When praising the versatility of this shoe.. I guess I'm a little confused what is different about the experience vs Speed 4. Any thoughts, please chime in!
The Speed 4 will definitely be a more versatile shoe than the Pro 4. At the end of the day, the Pro 4 is an an elite level racer and while it may be a more democratic option over the Endorphin Elite, it will mainly be used for race day or faster speed workouts. The endorphin Speed 4 on the other hand is fast uptempo shoe with versatility to do anything. The responsiveness of the PWRRUNPB makes it great for faster days or even some racing while the more flexible nylon plate and high stack height makes it suitable for some daily training as well. -Connor
Absolutely. Saucony have gone with a sharp taper in the toe box over recent years… they’ve become unusable for me, smashing up my 3rd-4th toes despite length being correct for big toe.
Glad to hear they’ve improved the durability of the outsole-the 3s wore out much too quickly for me. Love the idea of combining the two foams. Can’t wait to give these a try. Was wondering if Saucony will be releasing another version of the Elites any time soon. I really enjoyed the initial version.
I'm nearly 400km into my Endorphin Pro 3s and have minimal wear, running on a mixture of gravel, light mud and tarmac. They still feel great and are my go to for halfs. I tend get a small tear in the upper though, just above my big toe, but a couple of stiches and they've been like new.
@@dbo4506Judging from the wear on the outsole I push off the toes quite aggressively. I used them for all speed sessions and within a month I had a dime-sized hole at the tip of the shoe.
I decided after my comment yesterday to review all the pairs I have & I can confirm that all Saucony Speeds 3's wear out out on toe at 70-140 miles, I took my latest pair to 140 miles & balding in the toe is again happening, running a gravel, not even ashphelt, I am a defo midfoot cadence runner, raised this with Saucony, they say my running gate, so I got it checked at my local running shop, funny how my other shoes doe not get the same issues, IE Kinvara, Pro 3, poor design, cheaper rubber than V2, way different than Pro 3 which is even thinner IMO. I am paying for Pro Gait test to really see what is going on, I am benchmarking 5 pairs of shoes each with 50 miles in them with the test. I have had enough
Yeah, I love the speed 3 but on a tempo run on mostly asphalt the rubber outsole detached a tiny bit. But I loved the fit and feel so much that I took a tiny bit of superglue to fix the sole. I would wish they would focus the review on function - I don’t care what they call the foam, how does it work for racing at 3 hr marathon pace? For midfoot strikers? How does it compare to other shoes by Adidas / Hoka etc?
I really feel like these reviews are scripted, like a sales pitch, why do we need a swallow tail, that adds no benefit oh cos Saucony are worried about Hoka, why do we need the tongue stitched in, well they obviously forgot on version 3, do not forget more weight, means more price, gotta keep feeding those fat cats. Not a good start to the year Saucony
